Why did you pick this product vs others?: Terrible product. This door has opened itself at random times in the middle of the night, WHILE IT WAS OFF. It's a wonder our whole flock didn't get eaten.

Great product, works well and my chickens 🐔 love it. However the mount for the solar panel is terrible. No good way to mount it to anything if the wind is blowing.

    • Cash grab product....crappy quality.
This is a dog and pony show cash grab product. It looks good but...the remote doesn't work. The sliding door comes down but if there's an animal in the way and it hits the animal, it doesn't stop. The door is flimsy. The packet of screws only contains 3 screws and were the wrong size. I had to go buy more. The cord to the solar panel is the correct length. The additional cord to plug into a power supply instead is less than a foot long. (Useless) ... show more

We've had this installed for 5 months and the door is already broken. It will not close nightly - which doesn't protect our chickens. That was the whole point. Security and convenience.
