I am 5"8 weighing 145lbs. Works quite well is very sturdy. The directions were easy to follow but be careful, there are certain washers that are meant to be bent but you will figure that out once you go to place them. I just didn't realize I needed to keep those for a certain area at first. It's tall enough for me to dangle and fits perfectly off to the side in bedroom.

Over the last year or so my Husband has gotten into calisthenics, over that time, He had been using really anything he could find for pull-ups such as trees, makeshift pull up bars out of two by fours, fence posts, etc. He had sent me a video of a pull-up/dip bar that he really wanted, naturally it was out of our budget price range because some of these things can be so expensive. Me being the “I wanna buy everything for you” kind of wife, I got on Amazon and started my search! After coming across multiple options that were all very affordable, I went with this one which had the best reviews and the best star ratings. We couldn’t be happier with the product we got! The product came in a box, but everything was packed very nicely. There were no scratches in the paint no dents. We did really enjoy that the nuts bolts and tools all came in one container, everything was separated so we didn’t have to worry about sorting each nut and bolt into a separate pile. Directions were very easy to follow. It took us probably about 30 minutes to set it up and that’s with two people. Also, NO MISSING PARTS OR PIECES! (Something that’s hard to say for a lot of ordered products that need assembly) The great part about this equipment is that it is adjustable so it fits and many different places there’s nowhere really that it won’t fit. You can take it apart to put in the car. You can adjust it to make it higher or lower. You can put it in a closet, you can put it on your deck. You can put it in the garage. There’s really no limit! The adjustability is very very nice. The Equipment is very good quality very sturdy, grip is amazing you don’t have to use chalk! It holds up to 330 pounds, which is really nice because a lot of these other pieces of equipment didn’t hold up to that much, which we are both over 200 pounds at the moment so we needed something that was going to be durable for us. Overall, we would recommend this equipment to anyone looking for a good affordable pull up/dip station!

I purchased this product for $72 brand new during a lightning sale (which I highly recommend waiting for it to go down to that price) and I am very happy with it. This product is pretty great for the value. Everything I needed was in the box already and I did not have to go through any customer support. Be aware that the instructions are pretty bad, but you should be able to figure it out on your own anyway. I've provided a full list of pro's and con's. Pro's: - Excellent price - Good enough adjustability - The handlebar is somewhat comfortable - Awesome functionality - Perfect for beginners with limited space. Con's: - Rattling when shaken as a result of bad welding (not noticeable during use, only setup) - The wide grip for pullups is very uncomfortable and slides - Not that heavy which causes wobbling when doing certain maneuvers (forget doing advanced calisthenics) Overall, if you aren't a super-maneuvering calisthenics freak, this product is GREAT especially at its price point. Definitely a must have for starting a budget home gym.

I wanted to start working out at home, but I found I didn't really have a way to do some form of a pull up on anything. I had those pull up bars in the past that go between door jambs, but they seem to rub the paint and mark the jambs. This was the only piece I was missing to do my full-body workout. All the parts were in good condition in the box, and it was easy to follow the instructions to put together. For the price, this is strong and sturdy enough that I wasn't wishing I spent more on an expensive, beefier unit. This was just the right balance of build quality and price for home use. You are able to do wide grip and narrow pull ups. It also has the dip bar feature. I am also able to turn around and face up to do inverted rows on the dip bar handles. So in essence, this was able to take care of all my back muscles. It also doesn't take up much room. You can also use it as a clothes rack when ironing and doing laundry. I wanted to do the following exercises: 10 Bulgarian Split Squats per leg (1.5-rep style) 15 Decline Push-Ups Chin-Ups (AMRAP) 15 Jackknife sit-ups 15 Alternating Reverse Lunges (each leg) 10 Pike Presses 10 Inverted Rows 30 Mountain Climbers

I was looking at "Door mounted Pullup bars" and saw this was not that much more expensive (and was on sale) and so decided to get it. I liked the idea of having a free standing pullup bar plus the dip handles. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. I am pretty handy and have a good selection of tools. However, I found the instructions were missing important details, and I had to figure out several things on my own. For example, it would tell you to use certain combinations of washers with the bolts, but then not tell you on which end of the bolt to use the specific washers. Once it was together, it felt reasonably stable, though it is very lightweight. I am used to equipment you find in a gym and this is certainly not at that robust level. When I gave it a try during my workout, it didn't wobble or feel like it would break (I weight about 210). My one complaint is that I found that the bar does not extend as high as I would like. I am 6', and even at the highest setting I can hold onto the bar without stretching and with my feet flat on the floor. It is above my head, but I cannot not get full extension without bending my legs. I also found that my toes would hit the bottom cross beam as I was doing pullups. I am not unhappy with my purchase and don't plan to return it, unless something breaks later. I think I am just used to higher quality equipment you'd find a gym. Then again, a "gym quality" rig would cost 5-10 times as much, so, for the price, it does the trick. So, I recommend it you are looking for something affordable and are willing to compromise a little for that affordability.
