I used on my locs which were previously lightened in the front. I’ll put before and after pictures. I applied to the back of my head first then to the front. Left it on for about and hour and 10 mins. Was a tiny bit brassy, I toned it with another toner I had purchased and then used the toning conditioner in the box. If you use this on your locs make sure you use a water based moisturizer and oil every day on you hair because any bleach makes your hair dry and more susceptible to breakage. ... show more

So this was my first time bleaching my hair myself, I always go to my hairdresser but sometimes you can’t pay to get your hair color due to staying within a budget. So I decided to try this bleach kit and I am also allergic to bleach, but I did not have any reaction to this product at all, which was good. I left the color on for 40 minutes and then used the toner for about 15 minutes but I think I could have left it on longer. We only did my son’s ends in order to get more pop of color from a semi-permanent dye. Left on for 40 minutes and still had the reddish brown tinge seen in picture. I was not comfortable leaving it on more than that. I used all of the bottle so I don’t know if it needs more time or more product to get that bleach blonde color on the box, but he was happy enough with the result and it actually looks more natural. We’re going to cover it with red anyway so the tone may actually help hold the color more. We will see. ... show more
