I bought the snostrip back in Jan 2023, and have nothing bad to say about it. I have used it for two solid ski seasons, and it’s as easy as grabbing it from my trunk and slapping it on the side of my car. It has a foam back to it, so I’ve never worried about it scratching or leaving a mark on my paint. The magnet it uses is solid too. I once forgot to put it away after a ski day and drove 2 hours on the freeway, and it hadn’t moved from the side of my car when I arrived back home. I recommend adding this small, simple, and effective piece to your ski/adventure bag.

My wife and kid got into skiing this season, so trying to wrangle skis and poles was painful, and had skis slide off the car more than once. Yes you can just leave them on the ground, but when the parking lot is wet and muddy, you appreciate being able to lean them on the car. This product is great, works well with skis, obviously doesn't work for my 7 year olds short skis, but I can just toss his in the trunk. It's nice being able to easily move it around to adjust, but I'd recommend figuring out the optimal place to stick it beforehand, as depending on your car's shape, your skis can still contact the body if you stick it in the wrong place. Magnets felt strong enough to keep on the car, but at this price I just put it back inside afterwards I do wish the fins/dividers were a little longer so I could hang poles off them, I found myself either leaning the poles or throwing them in the back until I could properly put them away. I do think it's pricey for what it is, it is convenient but I lost this one I'm not sure I would buy a replacement, so hopefully this lasts for years and I can justify the price tag.

I bought this after a recommendation from a friend who has the same holder. It is a great investment that gives me piece of mind from scratches and dents in my car so I can rest my skis and my wife's snowboard against the car in the parking lot before and after removing them from the roof rack. A lot of thought was put into engineering this and it is universal for skis and snowboards. It is very heavy duty and has a thick heavy duty felt undercoating that is gentle to your cars paint. The magnets seem to hold the perfect pressure and overall is a few dollars well spent to save you many more if you damage your car. I would recommend this to anyone who needs to rest skis against their car!

The glue holding the magnets in place started wearing out within the first year. Although I did love the product for the first three months, I was dismayed to see that I can’t use it any longer for this winter season. Falling apart after only one year is unacceptable.

I was excited to buy one of these and have yet to be disappointed - it works exactly as advertised. The magnetic backing is solid and I often store mine on the roof while I ski for easy ready use. It's compact and protects the paint of my vehicle while keeping my gear off the ground.
