Treadmill is basic but has a safety clip turning unit off if you trip or fall. Has a place for a phone or tablet if you want to watch something as you walk or jog, machine has a remote and variable speed and several programmed modes. Machine tells you how long you have been exercising, calories burned, speed that you are waking / jogging and distance traveled. great mini treadmill except the handle is too low. I am 5'4" and I can't reach it without leaning over. I can only use it for a short time as my back begins to hurt. if you are comfortable walking or running without holding on this is a great option. if my husband can't jury-rig a taller handle I will have to return it. Very easy to get started, completing those small tasks. (e.g., adjusting the bar, adding the power cord and attaching the safety key.) The device holder is big enough for a tablet and/or your cell phone. Also having a remote control is cool but I have yet to use it. I have my pad and my living room so that way I can watch TV while on it. It's just the right size and it's not in the way. I still have to get adjusted to the preset modes but they work well for now. This was good quality. Runs quietly. Super compact and was able to stand against the wall. The con for me was the handle had to be screwed on both sides to lift up or down. That was not convenient for me and the tight space I would be using it.
