If you are a small person, this would be perfect. I am 5'6", average build, woman, and this chair is a bit small. The seat is short (front to back) with minimal, though adequate, cushioning, and the lumbar support is rather low and not adjustable.     • Lift cylinder broke within 3 months
I have had this chair for 3 months and the lift cylinder has already broke. The chair no longer stays up and sinks all the way down once you sit on it. After only a little over a month of use the chair began to show signs of the cylinder failing, the chair would slowing lower towards the ground while sitting on it. Extremely disappointed that this has already happened within three months of purchase with minimal use. ... show more

I'm going to have to return/exchange this chair. It's not a bad little chair for a short period of time, but if you plan on sitting in it for a few hours, you'll soon realize how uncomfortable it is. The seat is shallow and almost feels like it's pushing you out of it. I should have looked at all of the dimensions first. I'm only 5'4" so I wouldn't recommend it for a tall person. ... show more
