Good strong chair. I am 6'3 and 300lbs. I have one of these chairs that I've used as my chair at work for several years and the only thing that has failed on it, is that the padding has worn out. I break lesser chairs at a rate of one every 4-6 months. This one has been so bullet proof that I bought a second one for home use. I enjoy the wide base, as it doesn't feel restrictive like most chairs do for me. Only maintenance I've had to do is periodically tighten the screws that hold the arms to the body. ... show more

I weigh slightly over the weight listed and was nervous with the chair. Don't be. This seat is studry like an iron bench. It is soft and feels like a million bucks. The mix of cloth and leather-like material keep it cool enough to not feel hot. The arms are solid and thick. The tilt lets you lean back to a solid 65 degrees or so. I use an extra throw pillow for more back support myself but it is still nice on the back. The headrest slides up and down. I was confused how to lock it in position. My secretary figured out that she could put the hex key included, into a hole under the leather to lock it in place. The casters are plastic but seem to work fine. After using it two months there is no strange tilt to either side, no squeeking, and no loss of padding. My only wish is that the chair would lock in more incraments between back and foreward. If you have a handfull of big chairs in yoru cart, shopping for the right one as I was...you really can't lose with this. Looks just as pictured. ***update 5 years later*** I retired the chair today. Still performs but over the last month the gas piston won’t hold up. The bonded leather started chipping off and it seems started on the arms and headrest at the same time pretty aggressively. I wonder if someone used a cleaner on it or something. Looking for a new favorite chair now. If anyone wants me to review theirs let me know. ... show more

Ordered this chair 3-years ago. When the chair was received there were several defective and broken parts. I emailed the company and received a quick reply that they would ship me the replacement parts. They did as promised. Other than the trouble of having to tear down the chair and put it together twice, I was fairly happy. Slowly over the last 3-years the same gas cylinder that had to be replaced originally has been failing. Up until the last several months it was tolerable but now it has failed all together. Reached out to the company again and it is out of warranty. I was a little surprised but what are you going to do. They told me that although it is out of warranty they sold a replacement for the gas cylinder. So I responded back and asked for pricing. Nada...crickets. Follow up...nada...crickets. Sent another email today and received a response (probably automated) stating that ticket was closed. So, my review is buy the chair if you are good with it failing in a couple of years and getting nada for customer support! Follow-Up: Frustrating Customer Service Experience (07/04/2025) After submitting my original review about the chair itself, I attempted to purchase a replacement gas cylinder—a $10 part. What should have been a simple process turned into another disappointing experience. First, I was told I had to open a new ticket just to place the order. That alone took about a week before I received a purchase order. To actually pay for the part, I was required to call in—no online payment option. I went through several automated prompts just to reach a rep, then provided all the info, including the purchase order number (which should have tied everything together). Still, I was asked for additional details. The rep said she needed time to pull up the payment screen. After a few minutes on hold, the call dropped. When I called back and went through the same automated prompts, I was met with a message that the office was now closed. That was over a week ago. I even emailed the person who sent the purchase order—no reply, no follow-up, no resolution. I’ve since decided to just buy a new chair, but I wanted to share this follow-up to my initial review.     • Now this is a chair!

My chair came yesterday 10/28/2020. I had great expectations for it; and it did not disappoint. Now this is a chair! It came in 6 pieces (not counting the bolts, pneumatic cylinder or the casters individually) and it was so easy to assemble that it just had a diagram of each step (no explanation needed). I assembled it at a very leisurely pace and it only took me 15 min. (not counting the un-boxing). Now for the product... This is one solid chair. I feel like Admiral Kirk at the helm of the USS Enterprise, not because it felt big and unwieldy (it is not) but because I felt totally in control. It rolls as smooth as silk as I navigate it from my desk to the printer and back with very minimal effort. The seat cushioning is wide and plush (it being s skosh firmer would be perfect...but don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good I always say. Only time will tell how well the "cushioning" holds-up and doesn't become hard/lumpy. It swivels solidly, not a hint of wobble or looseness. So far my great expectations have been met.
