- 👎 Possible off-smell when new: Some users reported a noticeable smell when the chair was brand new.
- 👥 Size issues: Some users found the chair to be a bit small, particularly the distance between the armrests.

Is this forreal? For under $40? Lol. I honestly didn't know what to expect. All I knew is that I did not want just any kind of chair. I currently have 3 office-style chairs in my house that each sit at a desk. There are also a lot of fantastic, high-end, expensive desk chairs at my job that I work from. The three chairs at my home are just ok, with only one giving an overall sense of satisfaction. The ones at my job are exclusive and really comfortable to sit in. None of them are leather by the way. I happen to not be a fan of leather chairs and couches. They tend to be bulky, rough, and not so pleasant to sit in for long periods of time. I didn't want that for my new desk space. I searched endlessly and tirelessly online for what I hoped to be a lasting chair that would provide ease, comfort, relaxation, durability, and bolstering. This chair by Furmax gets a 5/5 in every category. It took me just about 25 minutes to assemble (which is only because I'm not much of a handy tool guy). I'd say this chair takes 15 minutes tops to assemble when done precisely and correctly. The moment I sat in it, I was instantly relieved of any doubt or speculation that it wouldn't be of long-term use for me. The seat itself, which you can see in the pics, is large, plush, and incredibly comfortable to sit on! I'm pleased every time I sit in it. I wondered if the handles would be hard when I was purchasing it, but they are actually totally relaxing while being firm enough to hold and lean on. The chair's back is quality at its finest with ultimate back support. Seating adjustment with the lever is as simple and easy as it gets, and the height just right! The wheels move smoothly and easily across my hardwood floor with absolutely no means of scratching or denting it. This chair is total finesse! I wholeheartedly recommend it to you. It is the best of all my home desk chairs, and can even compete with the best of the high end office chairs at my job. For the price it is superb! Your entire body will appreciate you getting it this chair. Lol!!! What an awesome Furmax product. Happy buying!

I've owned and used the chair regularly for about two months now. I'm a 200 lbs. (90 kg) man. Pros: Much more affordable than similar office chairs, reasonably comfortable, sturdy when not moving, very easy to assemble, castors all work smoothly on laminate floor Cons: The chair feels like it will fall over with me in it if I bend to grab something from the lower drawer of my file cabinet, it doesn't feel quite as sturdy when I'm rolling around on the castors Although I wouldn't say it is a con for me, I will agree with other reviewers who said the space between the armrests is a bit narrow, so if you have wide hips, that might be an issue for you. No problem here, though. Many of the negative things I read before purchasing this product (e.g. hard to put together, seat not being level, missing parts, strut not working) simply haven't been a problem for me--at least so far. I was previously using a metal fold-out chair before this one, so this felt like a very solid upgrade for not too much money. Thinking about buying another one or two of them to replace some of my older office chairs around the house. I would say give this chair a shot if you're just looking for a simple, affordable office chair without a lot of bells and whistles.

In a small box, easy to assemble. Nice comfort arm height and lite to move around in a small space. Good back support with tilting and seat cushion is good at 170 lbs. Price is great for this chair!

I love this chair comfort -wise. The back support was great. I liked the color. And the seat bottom was comfy and sturdy. I'm a teacher so I roll back and forth from my desk to my teacher work table often all day. So being able to wheel over and back is essential. The price was really reasonable too. However, I had to buy a 2nd one about a year later because the housing of the hydraulic mechanism that raises the chair up and down cracked. What was weird is that It still worked going up and down...but the chamber that contained the lifting part was no longer stable and it rocked around like a swivel. When I sat, I was tilted forward at such a steep angle that it almost felt like I'd be dumped out of my chair. I bought a 2nd one to give it another chance... hoping I may have just had a faulty part the last time. Perhaps reinforcing that part going forward would be smart. I'd pay more for a sturdier chair.

I’ve been using this office chair for about two years, and it has held up really well. It’s comfortable for everyday use, and the padded seat is still supportive. One thing I like is that it’s lightweight, so it’s easy to move around whenever I need to. The mesh back allows good airflow, and the chair rolls smoothly without any issues. Even after two years of regular use, it still feels sturdy, and nothing has become loose. It was also easy to assemble and has been a reliable chair for my home office. Overall, I’m very happy with this purchase. If you’re looking for a comfortable, lightweight, and durable office chair, I would definitely recommend it.

My 15 year old son, who is 6'3", uses this chair for his game/computer setup. He says that he loves this chair. Assembly was very easy and he did it by himself in just a few minutes. The chair is very sturdy and the adjustability is super easy! The color we got was black and exactly the one he picked out.
