If you want a headrest, this is not your chair unless you’re under 5’ tall. At 5’2”, the back reaches the perfect spot at the base of my skull to rest my head back. The recipient of the chair is 5’10”, and the chair back reaches even with or very slightly taller than his shoulders. However, he says it is very comfortable anyway. He seems quite pleased with the chair, which isn’t an easy feat nowadays. The cushioning is very good. The chair can tilt a little. The armrests are cushioned, and tilt up and out of the way (such a nice feature, and they don’t look weird or sit awkwardly that way). I put 3” rollerblade-type wheels on the chair instead of the included ones for another $15 or so. They add maybe another 0.5” or 1” of height to the chair. The hydraulic lift is maybe 5 inches, but I think it might just be 4 inches. The one small caution is to read through and look carefully at ALL the illustrations in the directions, to make sure you don’t accidentally put the tilt adjustment on the seat base in the wrong direction and have to change it as I did. The instructions attempt to clarify, but the illustration they use isn’t as helpful as looking at later pictures in the instructions. Had I read that far before beginning, I might not have gotten confused by the illustration and wording in that step. Still, an excellent chair for the money and VERY comfortable. ... show more

For 80 bucks this chair is definitely worth it. I would definitely recommend buying this over any of the two to $300 gaming chairs out there. It’s just as comfortable if not more comfortable than some of them.

Simple to put together on your own. Had it for a few months now and the only issue we’ve had so far was the cushion on the right arm rest came off for no reason. Definitely not a chair I would use for my full time office job. But it’s ok if you sit in it for a few hours at a time.

The chair looks nice but it wasn’t easy to assemble. Some of the screws seemed stripped or just weren’t screwing all the way in and my chair doesn’t lean back it leans forward.

i like most of everything about this chair: the design, the way the arms are moveable and the height. my only real problem is the wheels are extremely hard to move, they dont really glide easily… i can easily buy extra online so it isnt too terrible and that doesnt make the chair too bad. also it is uncomfortable after a while so if you buy this chair get a cushion for your butt! (for the price of the chair and a little cushion its still a great deal). i would reccomend this chair if you are using it for small increments of time not 8 hours though lol ... show more
