A quick fill of the torch and we were off. Easy to use, variety of chips nice to experiment. First try left it on too long, VERY smoky, surprised us. Found 20-40 seconds worked depending on the bourbon, whisky. Affordable compared to some. We will likely move contents to a smaller tupperware in liquor closet as the box is lovely, great for gift presentation but squeeze out space for a couple bottles in the cabinet.

This is a great gift idea for the man who has everything. The quality isn’t bad, and it was easy to use once we figured it out. That being said, this product did not come with instructions, so we wound up finding an instructional video online. Maybe it just wasn’t included in our package, I’m not sure. But, a simple user guide would have come in handy. Other than that minor snag, this was enjoyed immensely by a group of fellows with a cigar and a fire pit.

Bought this for my husband for Xmas and he loves it. It’s was easy to use (directions really not needed). I saw the reviews about the lighter not working but his works great! There is a learning curve on howling to smoke but that also depends on how your smoke preference. Would recommend for a Father’s Day or bdays gift for a bourbon lover!

Fun gift. Easy to use when you figure out the butane lighter. Recommendations for butane fill should be made. Fill caps types to use etc. should have some instructions with product.

While I can’t compare it to any other home smoking kits, it seems to work well. there was a $17 coupon available when I purchased so it was an extreme value. I did not want to invest a lot of money and this fit the bill. Some kits do not come with wood chips and this one came with 4 different flavors…a bonus! Only negatives is it doesn’t come with instructions or butane, but figured out after watching the video on the product page.
