This product will not work. I bought 2 for my office. They will not link as stated in the directions. In addition the directions are vague. For example, .....hold phone next to transmitter.,,, is the doorbell button the transmitter or is the purchased entender the transmitter. I did get one unit to rapidly blink red light but is still did not link. Really, these units are junk.

This device took a bit more effort than expected to understand and set up. The written instructions were somewhat confusing, and while watching the Amazon product video did help, the overall setup process still felt unnecessarily complicated. I purchased this because our home has a large layout, and when we’re downstairs in the basement it’s easy to miss the doorbell. Getting this connected properly took quite a bit of trial and error. Eventually, I was able to get it working and connected through my existing system, but it wasn’t a smooth or intuitive process. Once everything was finally set up, it did function as intended and solved the problem of hearing the doorbell throughout the house. However, I wasn’t thrilled that it required additional apps instead of working seamlessly within the Blink app I already use. I already had the Amazon Alexa app, but the overall setup still felt clunky and similar to other smart devices that require extra apps just to function properly. For the price point, I expected better quality and a more user-friendly experience. While it does work once configured, I don’t feel the quality or ease of use fully justifies the cost. This may be easier for someone who is very tech-savvy, but for others, the setup process could be frustrating. Please note: I received this product through the Amazon Vine program. I am not required to leave a positive review, and my feedback is based on my honest experience using the item. I also pay taxes on Vine items, so I’m careful about what I select and aim to provide thoughtful, transparent reviews to help others make informed purchasing decisions.

This thing is way too expensive for what it does. It's the same price or even MORE expensive than 1st party chimes. I could let the terrible setup instructions slide if this was inexpensive. The setup requires two seperate apps and even then it may not work. I was trying to link it to a new Ring camera using a Samsung phone. The Alexa app has been updated since they wrote the instructions, meaning half of the instructions are different. Plus the little guide is so vague, figuring it out requires a lot of guessing. Never got the two devices to talk to each other. My recommendation is to just buy a chime from the company who makes your doorbell.

My wife has a She-Shed about 75’ from the house. I also spend time in my man cave cabin about 60’ away from the house. Sometimes we will get deliveries or we will be trying to contact each other and my wife frequently leaves her phone in the house. Then we have to walk. I bought this two pack of doorbell chimes and set them up. Now when I need to contact her (or her me) or someone shows up and rings the doorbell the doorbell chime rings in the She-Shed and cabin. Just plugs into the wall. Since we are older one of my objectives was to be able to call for help if I needed her or her me. All we need to do is ask the in-home Alexa Dot or Echo Show to ring the doorbell and it does. We have a pact that says if it brings go to the home and see why we are needed. I did have some issues reading the directions because the type is somewhat small but with the use of my phone, I got it working. Wish they were the print was bigger. This is going to save us steps and although I never thought I would need extra doorbells I am very glad I got them.
