I bought this in September 2021. I really loved the extra features. A year later it stopped working properly. At first I thought it was the gateway or the batteries. I gave up on using the code since I thought my warranty expired and I won’t get any help. I still wanted to fix it and I contacted the support team. I was amazed how fast they replied. I sent the video with the issue and I thought they would give me a quote for the motor. They didn’t do that, they sent me a brand new upgraded lock for free. The lock was easy to install and worked great for 8 months. It was nice that my 3 kids didn't have to worry about keys. I was also allowed to let people in and out of my house when needed even if I was not home. Then it stopped working. The lock mechanism wouldn't turn with the keypad or app anymore. It would function as a regular lock using the key. I called the customer service number and became very frustrated. They kept saying that I would get a call back in an hour. I called 5 times with the same response. Two nights later(8 pm Central time) I was contacted via Whats App by a technician in China. After a brief video assessment, he determined that I needed a new lock. It was shipped priority mail and I got it in 2 days. Jason, from China, texted back several times to check the arrival and status of installation and functioning of the new lack. He was very professional and concerned. I would recommend this lock again. Just realize if support is needed that the techs work in Eastern Pacific(China) time which is about 12 hours different from most US time zones. Also, there will not call back in 1 hour, but will call back and provide great service. ... show more

Purchased lock a year ago. Recently had a problem. Contacted company service they worked with me to try & resolve problem. When problem was not resolved they immediately sent me a replacement. Love the lock & would buy again.

Hardware seems to be sounds. I installed two of this lock for my house and my church. The process is straight forward. The App probably developed by someone in China. The ttlock is not up to par. Maybe there's another app can do the same. - The attached picture tells me the door is locked then check the message below (the disclaimer)! - The log file is not consistent. It should record and show the status of the lock regardless it's a local manual lock & unlock, use passcode, or remotely lock & unlock! It doesn't! - my biggest complaint is that it doesn't use "colors"! I have August app for my daughter's house. As soon as I get to the app. I can see the house is locked because the color of the lock is red! It is green if it is unlocked! ... show more

I bought one of these a year ago, and a second one last month. Both have worked flawlessly. The one I installed last year is still reporting 87% battery on the original set of Duracells. When I had a support question arising from the second lock, it was answered promptly.
