i have purchased these for years!! usually one pair per year. i do a LOT, LOT of walking and i wouldn't trust my feet to anything else. just got these in and as soon as my inserts come in... i remove the stock insert and purchase a pair of quality ones. i will be walking 5 miles out and back and soon as inserts come. i remember the first pair i just put em on and walked. the fit is right, quality is off the chart and the price is easy on the wallet especially during times now.. can't go wrong with em. i also use saddle soap on em after awhile.. ... show more

I bought these hiking boots for my trip to London England. When I got to change my shoes after a long flight, I was able to feel how comfortable these boots are on my feet. I’ve got peripheral neuropathy, and it’s painful at times while wearing different boots that I own. When I first tried out my new hiking boots, I was quite impressed with just how much comfort and grip that helps my balance. But, it’s the comfort of my boots that I really love. I walked the streets of London, Paris and Cardiff Wales with these boots. My old boots stopped being waterproof so I needed something new. I was quite surprised at the price on these boots because most boots are around $150. So I bought them and have been very happy. I have worn them on several local walks to break them in before taking them out in the wild. They were comfortable on the first walk and after three I feel like they are close to broken in. I am on my 4th pair of these boots, which tells you the downside, they wear out fairly quickly. These boots are very comfortable and need practically no break in time. These are fairly light weight boots so they are not all that warm nor are they durable, but I love them because while they last they are light and really comfortable on long hikes. I used the recommendation to go up 1/2 size and they fit perfect. The boot is well made as I like, less suede and more leather. That combination makes it more waterproof, as more synthetic material tends to not be as waterproof. This pair of boots is very comfortable for my feet!

Purchased for my Husband; I work indoors in Hvac. These boots required no break-in period,they fit perfect, great all day comfort. They are lightweight and I would definitely purchase again, I'm actually going to buy a second pair in another color other than black. Great boot, highly recommended.

The lace length is 60". Not sure why it was so difficult to get a straight answer to this question. I measured & they're 60" long with +/- 1.5" of flex. Shoes fit true to size. Very comfortable & lightweight, not a lot of arch support. I'm gonna add some inserts.
