We bpight these to install under some shelves on our TV accent wall. They are very nice and low profile so barely visible when turned off. Physical installation was quite easy as they provide either an adhesove pad of small screws to mount the ligjts. Although the power cords say they are 78” they are closer to 70”. For my application I had to buy extension cables. These cables connect easily. As mentioned in other reviews, the Tuya App is required if you want to control these from your phone or a Smart Home solution. The Tuya App was not quite as intuitive as I would like but I was able to get conneted and setup with Alexa without too much trouble. Overall I am very happy with these puck lights and would definitely recommend them if you are looking for under the shelf or cabinet smart lighting. ... show more

The lights look really good and offer nice warm lighting option. Connecting them to google home was confusing but I read in other reviews to use Tuya. Download the Tuya Smart app, add advice -> other -> 2.4 device -> click the power button til the lights are blinking -> connect to wifi and then all set in tuya app. Next go to google home app and connect Tuya. Works like a normal connection from there. Basically connect your device to the Tuya app and not the DoTint app that the manual provides. ... show more

DO NOT BUY IF YOU WANT THINGS TO CONNECT TO YOUR HOME ECOSYSTEM. DO NOT BUT IF YOU WANT TO USE THE REMOTE AS THE MAIN SOURCE OF CONTROL. DO NOT BUY PERIOD. — Now that I’ve got that out the way, let’s start with the review. Let me FIRST say, I could have SWORN I purchased the colorful lights. I dislike feeling like the company somehow manipulates the listing periodically and after someone purchases one of these, as I see I am not the ONLY who believes they purchased the other ones. So just imagine my surprise when the white set was delivered and not what I believed I ordered. That being said, I figured I would just go with them instead of returning them. I will admit this product is packaged pretty nicely and is very similar to the Philips Hue packaging. However when you open the box the smell of something in there is strong and off putting. You quickly realize this is a cheap foreign product as soon as you start assembling it and reading the instructions. All in all, the lights are bright and have several temperature options. Also it’s relatively easy to assemble. The adhesive seems good and not SO strong that you can never remove it. Other than that, the rest is bad. 1. The app does not connect to it. And the app doesn’t even seem like it has any users. There’s no reviews, no developer updates. Nothing. And the name of the app has absolutely NOTHING to do with the product. And this means it DOES NOT connect to your home’s ecosystem. 2. The remote does not work unless you are literally standing right next to the receiver. I wish I would have returned it, but because they are bad lights, but because I feel this company is a scam and because none of the connectivity options work. A lot of people are having problems integrating this unit with Alexa. To avoid this issue, connect the lights to to manufacturer’s App. Once connected, down load the Tuya smart App. Once connected, the lights will show up in Alexa…Note, you can’t control them until after reboot them. Other than the connectivity complexity, this is a superior product with high brightness, quality solders and cables and complete cable management accessories. When these work they're great. they're very low profile and easy to install physically. The app (or lack there of) is a disappointment. I had ours hooked up and working for a few months on a timer, they no longer run when the timer is set, and you now have to be within 10 feet of them to turn off or on via the app (tuya not the one the directions say). My google home has also lost connection to them defeating the whole purpose of them being "smart". needless to say I'm a little disappointed but there really isn't another option on the market in the price range. ... show more

Was great when it worked. A year and a half later it just quit working. I got it connected to Alexa. Programed to a routine. One day it would come on and off without any command. Then it would start flashing different colors for about 1 minute beforr it would fully come on. Stayed like that for about 3 months. Then last week, it just completely stopped working. Pros: Easy to install. Beautiful colors. Good quality. Solid options. The fade is amazing and they don’t time out. Cons: There’s no color wheel. You get the buttons on the remote and that’s all.
