I recently received this "Christmas Candy Cane " and as simplistic Christmas decorations go, these are fantastic! I was doing some general browsing, scoping out new things to use as decor for the holidays this year, when I came across this 5-pack of candy cane lights. They were listed as being solar and that sounded like a good match for my no-nonsense approach to decorating, so I ordered right away. The package took some time to arrive, but eventually showed up, intact and unharmed. The box was a little beaten up, but everything inside was fine. The package included a sheet of instructions, the 5 individual candy canes, 6 ground spikes, and the solar panel. I was curious about designing the layout and wanted to find out how far these would stretch, so I grabbed the tape measure and laid them out in my foyer. The distance from the solar panel to the first candy cane is about 4'. From there, there's approximately 36" between each cane, so for 5 lights, it ends up being a span of about 12' from the 1st to 5th candy cane. That's not a terribly large display area, but it should be suitable for many setups. Plus, you could always double up and get a second set if you wanted a full-on Candyland (tm) Christmas house! Assembly on these didn't take too long. The only thing you really have to do to set them up is insert the ground spikes into the plastic tubes (the candy canes). The spikes have a groove on them that you can thread the wire through to avoid pinching it, so be sure to align the wire with the spike as you insert it into the plastic candy cane tube. The solar panel has 2 buttons on it. One is for power and the other for selecting the mode. Cycling through the mode button lets you go from one lighting effect to the next. There is no remote control and there is no timer function. These lights operate based on ambient lighting, so until the sun sets (or you block the panel's light source), they'll be off. But the second the panel stops detecting light, they'll light up and will run until they run out of power, or until the sun rises again. This set of 5 solar-powered candy cane lights was priced at $9.99 when I placed my order and I like them enough that I'd order them again for sure. They're super easy to use, work great, and were very affordably priced. Happy to have them in my holiday decor arsenal, and equally happy to recommend this product to others!

These solar Christmas candy cane lights are such a fun and festive way to dress up the yard for the holidays. The set of five is perfect for lining a pathway, driveway, or even placing around the garden to instantly add a cheerful glow. They’re solar-powered, so you don’t have to fuss with extension cords or worry about your electric bill creeping up. Just stake them in the ground, let them charge during the day, and they turn on automatically at night with a warm, welcoming light. The candy cane design is bright and colorful, and it really captures the classic holiday feel. They stand out nicely once illuminated, and the waterproof feature is a big plus since they can handle snow and rain without issue. I also like that they’re lightweight but sturdy enough to stay in place once pushed into the ground. On the flip side, because the set only comes with five lights, they don’t cover a long distance on their own. For larger pathways or yards, you’ll probably want to grab two or three sets to get a fuller effect. The brightness is more of a soft decorative glow than a strong light, so they’re better for ambiance than for actual path lighting. Overall, they’re easy to set up, festive, and bring a lot of holiday charm to any outdoor space. A great choice if you want simple, cheerful decorations that run themselves once set up.
