I bought this for the door leading to the garage from our kitchen. My younger daughter would always lock the deadbolt on our door in from the garage when she'd go into the house. If I were working in the yard, well she just locked me out! I can't really yell at her since I want her to lock all the other doors to the house, but I never have my keys when I'm doing stuff around the house... This lock seems perfect, depending on how often the batteries need switching. It looks very high-end, and although I didn't really care about the finger print option, it's actually pretty neat! Everything was so much easier to install than the Nest door Lock I put on the front door. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles like auto-lock, and it doesn't work with the Google Home app, but it's perfect for my garage doorway! ... show more

I love the look, quality, features, and especially the price of this smart lock. Has all the methods of unlocking one could ask for. The fingerprint works well and is handy. The IC CARD is the one I use the most. Also very convenient and fast. Since my dominant hand usually is carrying several items it's nice to hold the Keychain up to the lock and have it unlocked almost instantly. Great smart lock and company! Thank you ... show more

Installation was easy and straight forward. This lock is much better the my previous keypad only lock. Super convenient to have one touch finger print pad to unlock. Came with physical keys and key cards that fit perfectly in your wallet. The app was easy to install and set up. You can lock and unlock the lock.     • *updated*. Lock works, APP DOESN'T!!!
The lock was easy to install and the first part of the use experience was great. I didn't get the confirmation code on my email but my email tends to not receive emails, so I didn't think much of it and went with my phone number. Confirmation Code received, it took me 5 minutes to figure it out. Fingerprints were in, codes were set, cards were programmed, all good. Locked & unlocked nicely! Went into the app a day later to try to enter another fingerprint and NOPE. zilch. Nada. It's been a few days, the app doesn't work. I made the mistake of logging out to see if I could log back on and make it work but I messed it up even more: now it doesn't even let me try because the first step is to set your region and it won't even let me pass that step. I've turned off Bluetooth and back on, I've pressed buttons, I've uninstalled & reinstalled the app, nothing. I'm giving up. I really don't want to return bc now it has a record of our fingerprints, soooo... Only one more thing to try and that is to take out the battery and try to set it up and new. I'll update if I succeed, but I would say learn from my mistake and don't buy this until the app developer can fix the app UPDATE: 1) The seller reached out to me based on the review above and offered to help and/or a refund. I appreciate them doing that. 2) in order to tell them what was happening, I went back and tried to do it all again and it worked as well as the 1st time. I was able to change what I needed to change in the app, I was able to log in to my account and it all worked just fine. I don't know if they troubleshot the app in these last few days or if the app just works well sometimes and sometimes it doesn't, but I hope it was just a temporary thing that doesn't always happen. And please don't let it happen when I'm needing to set a temporary code at a specific time, that wouldn't be nice. Do I recommend it now? Depends on the price point ;) and on the app developer. I am keeping my old fashioned lock with a key just in case! ... show more

    • Easy to install on door
It was quite fast installing it physically came with a clear instruction book and a outline for the holes for the lock of you need to make the hole on the door itself Came in 3 different languages (which I absolutely love! I only speak English but it's helpful to Spanish and Chinese speakers/readers) it hold 250 different fingerprints, 3 keys, 2 key fobs and a app to use.. So far so good I will update later as to how well this deadbolt/system functions. So far it's almost a slam dunk for us as far as quality and for the price I used a 20% coupon that attached as well so that was nice. This item is just as seller/details say it is so far! Looking forward to my new lock Delivery was great this time as well they took a great photo clearly showing where they put my package which is helpful we had a little bump when it came to a couple other deliveries but that was corrected quite quickly thank goodness. Before we had a lock with just the keypad for numbers but it finally gave out so we were going to buy the same one and came across this lock and absolutely fell in love with it Our old lock was key or pin only so this is a big upgrade for our system Now I don't have to give family and close friends my pin to get in the house incase of an emergency or other situations that may arise I can simply let them in through the app or just program their fingerprint (of course only people I trust with my life will have that type of access) I ordered this last night and it got here today that was so fast! Then again I do live by a Amazon hub station/warehouse Looking forward to faster, easier access to our home 🏠 Again I'll edit later once I've had the opportunity to use all functions so far it's perfect P.s. Our old one that only had a pin or key was $149-$160 this was just under $70 and has way more features and technology so worth it so far so good 😊 ... show more

My brother in law installed this with ease and quickness. The app required to set up fingerprints and passwords is very easy to use. I picked this lock because of the thin and modern look, and it really exceeds what i was expecting! Hopefully it will stand the test of time (and weather).
