These pants are amazing. They look awesome and are extremely comfortable. I even like wearing them around the house! Also feel they are the perfect level of added heat for cool to cold water. I don't sweat in them, nor am I shivering cold when in the water.

    • Panels Are Thinnest Where You Need Most Thermal Protection
These fleece pants are well made, and in one important way better than Simms' prior pants designed for under waders. The waistband has snaps, which seem like a better idea then the pull-strings on the Simms wading fleece pants I currently own. Workmanship looks to be excellent. There are multiple panels on these thermal pants. The front panel, which spans from the waist to just below the crotch, is thicker than the rest of the pants. The rear panel, from the waist to just below the crotch is thinner than the front panel in this area. The legs are where I need the most thermal protection, yet the material is thinnest there. Wrong place for thinnest material considering the legs are exposed to the most cold water when worn under fishing waders. ... show more
