Loved them so much I bought em twice. I had my first pair for roughly two years. I wore them just as house slippers and then somehow started wearing them outside to walk my dog for quick potty breaks. They came to my wedding with me. I kid you not, it was full snow on my wedding day and I didn’t want to wear my ballet flats for the pictures because it would ruin them so I pulled out my slippers and said “screw it, if they get destroyed so be it.” And my feet were warm, not wet at all after trekking through snow and the slippers were fine!!! My toes were the warmest thing on me. I only got rid of them because I stained them when I dropped red wine all over them later and decided I needed a new pair after two years. The tread on the bottom was fine and really only the fur on the inside showed signs of wear. I know you can’t see them in the last picture, but just proof I was IN the snow. I swear by these and you should too. Very very cozy to walk in. Great fit. Size up if you like to wear thick socks with your slippers, just let the fur settle. These Fireside Dearfoams slippers are great—super comfortable and with real traction on the bottom, which makes a big difference on hardwood and tile floors. The sole is thick and supportive, so they feel sturdy rather than flimsy like some house slippers. I really appreciate that these are the slip-on style instead of moccasin slippers. It makes it easy to wear them around the house and just kick them off when I want to put my feet up on the couch. I actually bought these for my 86-year-old grandma, who is always cold and prefers wearing shoes inside the house because she needs extra stability. These have been perfect for her. She loves them and says they feel very secure when walking, even with her walker on both carpet and hard flooring. She also likes that she can easily slip them off when resting. This is now my second pair of these slippers because I wear them ALL the time when home. They are SUPER comfortable and soft and cozy, as well as cushiony to walk in. And totally keep your feet warm in the winter. Have even found myself out at a store with them on LOL, they’re so wonderful I forget I have them on. Every year for the past 15 years I treat myself to a new pair of overly-priced slippers. I've never bought the most expensive brand (ugh! you catch my drift?). I always go for the middle of the road brand (fuzzy fuzzy was a bear...paw). I buy them and they last a year but if I'm honest they are not the most comfortable. They have always seemed stiff. Especially on the top of my feet. Not much bend-ability. I have been searching and searching for the perfect slipper and these are it! So, so beautiful and BY FAR the most comfortable of any slipper I've ever invested in. Please don't change the quality. These are suede not leather but I think that may be why they are more comfortable. They are lighter weight and my foot is able to flex/bend easily without any breaking in. I couldn't be happier. Love the lining too. No shedding/matting. My woodland animal brand slippers looked like they had mange after a month or so of use. Made with quality, soft and fluffy sheepskin through and through, unlike other manufacturers charging more for similar looking slippers.
