We've had really good experiences with these locks - they just work. I can't really imagine not having these - it's so easy you forget it's even there. The only hitch is that if your hands are wet - it won't work and you have to wait a few minutes for the moisture to evaporate off the sensor before it will work again.

This lock was easy to install and feels heavy duty/sturdy/quality, but that’s about all I can say about it that’s positive. I got it installed, downloaded the app, registered and put in 2 fingerprints. Tested it with the door open and it worked fine. Stepped outside to test it for real (key in pocket!) and suddenly it didn’t work. It read my fingerprint and I could hear it supposedly unlock but COULD NOT OPEN the door no matter how many times I tried. Feeling thankful that I had the foresight to have the backup key with me I thought I was home free. THE KEY DID NOTHING!!!??! So yup, locked out, had to smash a basement window and crawl through that to get back in the house. Will be returning it as soon as I get a replacement door knob. Now I’m afraid to buy any of the others because they all seem to use the same app. The lock also doesn’t seem to stay “connected” to the app and when I try to reconnect it fails despite having completely set it up. Verdict: it’s trash and I wish I could bill them for the basement window. Not sure why it gets such great reviews?!?!

The fingerprint recognition is pretty good (save a few from different angles for easier recognition as hand position changes). The only problem was the screws used to attach the internal lever lock to the door broke when screwing them in. The head broke off on both screws, and I ended up having to improvise because the screw bodies got stuck in the door with no way to get them out. Unfortunately, this meant I couldn't put the old lock back on either. The seller reached out immediately when I raised the issue, and they remedied it quickly and said they'd send feedback to the manufacturer. If you are looking for a cheaper product, I can recommend the product for its functionality, but I would use reinforced screws when installing the hardware.

The key will get stuck!! When the fingerprint wouldn't work, I used the key. The door open but the key won't come back out. The key wouldn't turn back to the original location. So now it doesn't lock at all!!! It lasted 9 months so I got my money's worth!!!

Great item easy to put on door easy to use love it has notifications to show when used or tried to be used had a back up key if batteries die I put this on my bedroom door to keep teen kids when not home to keep them out and for small children from going into the room when not supervised
