Since we were mostly beginners, there was a lot of falling into the snow. The bibs held up extremely well and kept us so warm that we were able to remove some underlayers to avoid sweating.     • Good Protective Pant, Size up if tummy, waist or hips are on large size.

Ordered in two sizes to see which fit my niece better, a Large and an XL. She normally wears a 12 on top and 14 on bottom. The L was too tight across the tummy which is her fit issue area. The XL worked., the elastic on the sides helped the fit. The biggest problem is that she is petite and these are a mile too long on her. Luckily the straps have a lot of flexibility in making longer and shorter, but still had to take out about 4 inches. But this was a challenge to shorten as the leg bottoms have zippers and the inside elastic cuffs. I decided to cut them off mid-thigh and take out 6 inches there and re-attach the bottom pant legs, retaining the nice zippers and cuffs. Since they were black, it wasn't that noticeable and she was happy to have something that fit. The fabric seemed to keep her dry and warm, but she wore it over her jeans and sweatshirt. It's not too bulky, can still go downhill tubing with the bending and standing of that sport. If larger tummy, waist or hips are your fit issue, I would size up. But we are happy with the end product, even with all the work I put in to make them fit. It should would be nice to have a petite option. ... show more

Very warm and I love the neutral color. I bought and XXL because I become cold easy, so I need to wear very bulky jackets underneath. 5 3’ and size 14, but I have hips, so better to size up with winter gear so you can layer. Kind of noisey lol. Still love them. When I wear these it’s because I’m freezing, so I wear hoodies and puffy jackets under. Size up. ... show more

⸻ Decent snow pants for light winter use I used these for a short snow trip and they did the job. They kept me warm and dry in light snow, and the fabric feels durable enough for casual use. The fit is a bit snug, especially if you want to wear thick layers underneath, so consider sizing up. These fit great. I am 5'4 - 157lbs - 29 1/4 or so inseam - ordered a medium. The fit was perfect. I still had room to put clothing under it. The length was maybe slightly long but by the time I get ski boots on that's not gonna matter. Very happy with our purchase and would buy again.
