I'm 5'5" and 170LBS and bought the XXL in black. I have a typical "mom bod" so I needed something forgiving in the waist/hip area. I normally wear a L 12/14, but upon reading another review took a chance with the XXL. I'm glad I did! This snow bib fits perfectly over jeans or leggings and was a breeze to slip on. The leg length was a little long and the back of the pant covered the heel of my boots, but this wasn't an issue for getting around though. The top was loose, but the straps easily tighten and stayed in place with zero slipping. I have a long torso so I didn't have to tighten too much. The waistline is very stretchy (in the picture I'm showing the room) and I was able to comfortably play in the snow and go tubing for hours. I wore my jacket over the top, but you could wear one under the bib as well. These kept me bone dry and warm. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ... show more

Ordered in two sizes to see which fit my niece better, a Large and an XL. She normally wears a 12 on top and 14 on bottom. The L was too tight across the tummy which is her fit issue area. The XL worked., the elastic on the sides helped the fit. The biggest problem is that she is petite and these are a mile too long on her. Luckily the straps have a lot of flexibility in making longer and shorter, but still had to take out about 4 inches. But this was a challenge to shorten as the leg bottoms have zippers and the inside elastic cuffs. I decided to cut them off mid-thigh and take out 6 inches there and re-attach the bottom pant legs, retaining the nice zippers and cuffs. Since they were black, it wasn't that noticeable and she was happy to have something that fit. The fabric seemed to keep her dry and warm, but she wore it over her jeans and sweatshirt. It's not too bulky, can still go downhill tubing with the bending and standing of that sport. If larger tummy, waist or hips are your fit issue, I would size up. But we are happy with the end product, even with all the work I put in to make them fit. It should would be nice to have a petite option. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I can't say enough about this item. I had never been snow skiing before and wasn't really sure what brand of anything to order. However, this brand of bibs worked great! I never got cold. They seem to be sturdy and well made. The fit was perfect. I'd say they are true to size. For someone who only plans to snow ski occasionally, it's perfect. We also plan to wear these while we ride motorcycles in the winter. ... show more

These fit great. I am 5'4 - 157lbs - 29 1/4 or so inseam - ordered a medium. The fit was perfect. I still had room to put clothing under it. The length was maybe slightly long but by the time I get ski boots on that's not gonna matter. Very happy with our purchase and would buy again.

This is my second purchase. I want to keep one pair at a different house. I ordered this item previously a few years ago, and was satisfied with the snow bibs, except the material had issues. The material on the first snow bibs was stiff, thin, and very noisy, but they kept me warm. The material used in the new snow bibs has since been upgraded. I am 5’6”, 143lbs, I wear a 6 or 8 in pants, and I’m a small in shirts. I measured for the sizing and I am a 29” waist and 40” hip. I ordered the medium. These overalls are simultaneously too small and too big. They are too long in the leg, too tight in the hip, and the shoulder straps are too long even at their shortest length. I have trouble lifting my legs upwards, and bending over to put socks and ski boots on was extremely uncomfortable. My range of motion is very limited by the tightness in the hips. The legs are long enough that I’m not going to be able to wear them with normal-height shoes without shredding the hem. I am also going to have to safety pin the straps shorter so they don’t fall off my shoulders. It’s quite unfortunate because I’ve had a very hard time finding lightweight ski pants with boot gaiters within my price range. As of right now I am going to keep them, but I am going to keep looking and see if I can find something that fits better. ... show more
