I am very pleased with this item and use it every day, The fingerprint scanner works like a dream so much so that I hardly ever use the keypad. Installation was very easy. As long as you use the right screws, you should have no problem. And the app works too. If I was to nitpick and come up with one thing that I did not like about it, it would be that I only had one choice of color so as to not match the door handle. Oh and I wish could lock and unlock with Google or Alexa. But neither are deal breakers! My father got a different brand from ZSZ or something and all types of problems. ... show more

Lasted 3 months and now the motor will not turn the lock. It says it is locking and unlocking but it does nothing. Changed batteries several times and took completely apart. Seems like the motor just burnt out. I also don’t like that it is Bluetooth only and not WiFi, but that is something that I should have paid attention to at the time of purchase. You can control it from your phone, but only when you are within 15 feet or so. Finger print sensor is very inaccurate as well. Not really worth the money in my opinion. Unless you want 3 months of ease and then back to the same old. I don’t even know who the manufacturer is or how to contact them so I do not know if they would still warranty the device.     • Mixed bag with good but lots of room for improvement
Pros: beautiful pin pad front, lots of ways to unlock, reasonably easy to install (intuitive) despite their efforts in the instructions (see below) Cons: biggest two are the need to use screws to access batteries that are right on the face of the lock and look unsightly and after opening it once or twice, they lost the black color and now look like two stains on the front; instructions required some leaps of faith I.e. comes with 2 squared rods and no mention in installation instructions so I had to use intuition to figure it out; sticks our a lot (3-4 inches) on each side of the door and could be an issue if it’s in a narrow hallway; hard for small kids to open because the knob is pretty wide; Bluetooth seems to have limited range and doesn’t work unless in the line of sight Overall: I think it’s more of a $40-50 value, and they need to hide the screws or redesign it so there are no screws to access the batteries. I bought it for $60, and it’s okay for low visibility areas as it’s not a great decor piece. ... show more

So far this smart deadbolt systems has been satisfactory. Install was straightforward, with no terrible difficulties. The main box (inside housing) is a bit clunky, but a lot of these are due to cramming in so many electronics. The outside unit seems reasonably responsive, with only some hiccups regarding biometric scan and keypad entry. So far everything functions as it should and smart features perform well. I am curious to see how it performs through season changes, where wood settles and frames tend to shift, but at this time, it does what it claims. ... show more

lasted 3 months and then the batteries died. no problem, I'll swap them for new batteries. Once i did that, no power at ALL. I spent 2 months trying to contact support via WhatsApp since the website had zero help and it had been impossible to get a response or any help. Definitely wont be buying this again, ever! ... show more
