This machine is a great addition to our home! We can make anything and everything when it comes to cold drinks. It's very easy to set up, program, and clean. I was actually very surprised with how easy it was to set up and get everything going. I was a little nervous about cleaning it and putting everything in its place, but it all went together smoothly, and it was back in business in no time.     • Watch out for the evaporator sealing ring!
Easy setup, Good results if you follow the directions on sugar and Alcohol content. If you make alcohol based slushies be prepared to wait a while for the machine to beep that its ready like 30 plus minutes. Soda take 10 to 15 minutes and you are good to go. The Achilles Heel of this machine is the sealing ring you need to be sure it's perfectly fitted on the evaporator every time you use the unit, Pull forward on the Vessel release bars pull the vessel forward and inspect it make sure the seal is good around the evaporator then push back on the bars to seal. I made the mistake of not doing that and had Tahiti punch soda all over the kitchen on the granite countertop and all over the floor. I took a while for my shoes not to stick to the floor. I works as described they all do the same thing the only difference is the sealing ring is on the vessel on all of the other models out there this is the only one that puts in on the evaporator. Again if you are careful and inspect twice before loading up the machine you should be good to go. I am going to contact the manufacturer to see if I can get a spare sealing ring I know at some point it is going to need replacement. This machine cost me $159.00 the lowest price on the Ninja was 239 at costco both machines do the same thing only the Ninja is fool proof this is not when it comes to the sealing ring. I would have given it 4 stars if it was not for the sealing ring issue. ... show more
