The color is very masculine and snazzy. The grip is less thick than many of the other paddles I tried. It doesnt cramp my hand. The paddle is very light and gives enough power when needed to make the kill shots and line drives. I am not a great kitchen volley guy but it seems to be fine so far. Absolute blast paddle for half of a Jolla paddle. The Halo Control XL works perfect for a intermediate level forward, giving a lot of control, spin and decent power. I wish I could test the POWER also to compare but I am super happy with the CONTROL version

This is a great paddle for spin, control, and power. It’s very competitive with more advanced paddles and I did really enjoy playing with it. I like the elongated handle the weight and the sweet spot. I would have given it 5 stars if the handle end hadn’t come off after about 7 months of use.

This is my favorite paddle out of all the ones I own. The weight and grip are phenomenal, it just feels right in my hand.. if you know you know. Sometimes I'll use other paddles during games and I always end up coming back to this one. The power and spin I get is great.

As an intermediate player, this is my first Selkirk purchase, although I tried many before purchasing. It has good balance and is nice quality. The grip is a little chunky if you have a smaller hand, but I can easily pick mine out of multiple stacks because of the great color! Nice value!

The standard length 14mm version is a very good paddle for power, control and topspin, but I would say is somewhat more unforgiving than some other paddles if you miss-hit the ball. It’s a paddle that rewards intentional deliberate play, good for intermediate or better players, not beginners.
