Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to installing it until we had nicer weather and while at least a maximum width of 29.4 inches that is the only width at which it works and on my Volkswagen it is 28 inches so I had to drill and tap a separate set of holes in order to make it functional

Not the easiest rack to clip down once the skis are in it. We had 4 sets of skis and a snowboard clipped in (we thought). Got on the interstate, looked in my rear view mirror, and skis and a snowboard were flying all over the 3 lane Highway!! I pulled over, my 70 year old dad jumped out of the car, stopped the traffic and collected all the gear. Praise the Lord no one was hurt! The ski rack broke in the ordeal. We had to order a new rack and went with a higher quality product this time.

Too wide for my car

Was looking for wider roof carrier version so I can easily fit 1 snowboard and 2 skis, without having the skis put together but clamp them individually. This way I need less clearance to my roof and avoid potential scratches on the skis. Installation hardware is included. Looks great and the sticker gives it a nice touch.
