So out of the box this washer is pretty basic - no accessories other than 4 nozzles. I added some stainless steel quick disconnects, a 50 foot hose extension, a cheap foam cannon, the Simpson in-line pressure regulator, and a 15 inch surface cleaner. This is a bargain and worth every penny even without those accessories. The power is amazing. The engine started on the second pull. It is relatively quiet for a gasoline engine. I ran it through 2.5 gallons of gasoline in about 4 hours of continuous operation with zero issues. There is some preparation required before the first use - the big one is you need to add oil - which is included in a pre measured pouch - to the engine crankcase Do this before putting any gasoline in the tank and give the engine several pulls to lubricate things. Also, before you start the engine, connect the pump to the supply hose and turn on the water. Remove the nozzle from the spray wand and squeeze the trigger to purge and prime the pump and high pressure hose - this can take a few minutes to fully purge out the air. Once purged, make sure their is gasoline in the tank, the throttle is open, the fuel valve is open, the choke is closed, the kill switch is on and give the starter a pull. Once the engine has started, pull the spray wand trigger again to fully purge the pump. It may look and feel like the pump has low pressure - keep squeezing the trigger and give it a minute. You will hear the engine bog down and suddenly there is pressure. Add the spray nozzle and go to work! The only issue I had was mounting the spray wand holder. It he mounting hole is partially blocked by the “apron” between the handles. I had to loosen the Torx screws of the apron to get enough clearance for the bolt to go in the hole. Once it was through, the apron screws could be tightened up again. And the holder holds the wand very securely if you insert it and twist it to snap it in place. Maybe the newer machines have a redesigned holder based on other reviews stating the holder was “worthless”. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend this machine - it is more than adequate for home use. Loved this pressure washer. It really packs a punch. It comes with oil. Just make sure you add it before starting the machine. Used it for several hours right out of the box. Did an amazing job.

The "stack" that contains carbonator and fuel controls should be metal or protected from impact. Cranks really good,runs well, very powerful. I would repeat purchase unless I found one with " stack" protection

1st let me start with-it is easy to set up right out of box, 5 minutes at the most. it is lightweight and easy to manage. that is the only postive i could find. now the cons! 1st con it’s broken! i received the washer on tuesday, 9/20. decided to use it in the evening, had all my ducks in a row, everything was checked and double checked, oh, i forgot to mention it was suppose to come with four valves , red, yellow, white and black, the red was missing. i preceded to let it run to get all the excess stuff out of it, it took numerous times to try and start it, it would try but just couldn’t do it, this in hindsight should have been my first clue, but it wasn’t! i was tired from trying to start it, took a 1/2 hr. break and went back to it , had to try it about ten times, finally got it going, but it would just sputter, choke up and die. when i could get it to run at all it would not built pressure. finally called my son ask him to go everything and make sure i didn’t miss any steps, i didn’t! did the same thing on him. he was like me , guessing the engine is bad. now comes the interesting part! keep in my this machine is only 3 days old, i contacted amazon customer support. they had no problem telling me it is not replaceable and not refundable. the reason it is considered hazardous material because it has had gas and oil in it! and i would have to contact the manufacturer.i explained to customer service it states in the refund area which is directly below the item picture right after click on cart that it can be refunded or replaced. customer service at this point was looking for anyway out , i actually had a c. ser. person tell me it says MAY! be replaced or refunded, not will be. when i question them on that point and explained to her that was very misleading, she preceded to let me know i had be given several common courtesy breaks in the past year. the only thing i could assume at this point i was being penalized for items that i have returned. i did contact the manufacturer and get this problem resolved problem. i am still trying to reach out to the manufacturer to see if i can get this taken care of. as it stands i am out 436.00 and a useless pressure washer. i am writing this review so no other person has to go thru this experience. please be aware any item you order that requires any type oflubricant or anything that is deemed hazardous you can not get a refund if you have a problem. i will update when i hear from the manufacturer ... show more

Arrived in perfect condition , well packed with easy to understand directions. Put it together in about 15mins. Started right up and went to work with it. Really strong motor and pressure. Make sure to order with the optional floor cleaner attachment - that makes floor work and patios / walkway work really fast and easy. This is much better that the one I replaced which was a Costco off brand Yamaha unit. Simpson are known for good pressure washers and do a lot of commercial products as well. Finally compared a lot to Lowe’s and Home Depot but the overall price / value / quality is great on this one. ... show more
