Returned the first one for a dent and paint chip in the top of it and for the lack of a crumb tray -- even though this site description says it has one, and the manual even says 'crumb tray.' Got the second one...NO crumb tray. NO drop bottom. Very difficult to clean. This was a gift, so I looked like a jack*ss twice. My friend kept the 2nd one since they really needed a toaster, and after about a week of use they reported that it heats up slowly (an egg takes 10 whole minutes to cook, after a 5 min pre-heat). If I was buying this for myself, for 40 bucks, I don't think it's worth it and I sure as heck wouldn't keep it. Better luck to you elsewhere. ... show more

We're very pleased with this item. Easy to use and clean. When doing biscuits, for example, be sure to turn it to "toast" so the tops will brown. It's matter of reading and following directions and, sometimes, trial and error. But LOVE this item. (I do have a picture but couldn't pull it up.)
