The pump has wifi capability that can be controlled from anywhere in the world. Also sends and monitors the temperature of the water with notifications sent directly to your cell or email or both!! The pump is very quiet and setting up wifi was easy. As it required 3G band I suggest you turn off the 5G while initially setting it up. Once connected and tested turn on the 5G. I bought this pump and installed it on my Red Sea Reefer G2+ 250. The pump itself is absolutely silent and perfect. The problem is the WiFi app and the supplied attachments. The WiFi adapter leavess the pump off if there is a loss of power, and then a return of power, and Sicce has known about this problem for years, but claim it's related to something else even after numerous reports of this happening. In addition, the supplied adapters do not fit any standard size hoses or piping. You have to jump through multiple hoops to get the pump attached to your system unless you are already using Sicce pumps and have hoses or pipe adapters that fit. ... show more

    • Awkward pump fittings configuration no compatibility with standard PVC threaded fittings

I purchased this only to find they were too cheap to just include individual tubing specific size adaptors to the different hose sizes. Additionally the threads on the pump were non standard threading and no matter how many fittings I attempted to purchase from the hardware store none would fit the pump. Small tanks sometimes have a limited amount of space when it comes to plumbing fittings to pumps. I couldn't use any of the adapters that came with it. And to top it off there were NO threaded PVC fittings I could find that would actually work on the threads on this pump to create my own plumbing configuration. There was absolutely no way I could use this pump. I returned it after much frustration. The company really needs to build products compatible with standard PVC threading and they need to include hose more hose adapters specific to the common sizes of flex tubing. IE 1/2 > pump. 3/4" > pump 1" > pump. The fittings instead are combined fittings where they were meant to have two sizes of tubing fit a single threaded adapter. In my case this took up more room than I could tolerate in my sump / aquarium stand. Also the pump just felt extremely cheap for the price. But I will never know since I could never use it. ... show more

Works great. I have it in a 40g sump on a 60g freshwater aquarium at 50% power. It's working fantastically. The pump is silent and the ContrAll app is very convenient. One thing to remember - the pause function only pauses for a short time before self starting again.
