Now I am that blue haired, little, old lady :) My hair is white at the front and sides, but the back (long hair) is still gunmetal gray. Using this I wanted only a hint of blue on the white areas and didn't know what to expect to the gray area. Well, I used a drop or two more than I guess I wanted with the color (still light but not as light as I wanted). It took well on my side-bangs and my temples. They are BLUE. The gray is what surprised me. The blue is there, if you look for it, but it darkened the gray just a bit, too. What few white hairs are mixed in the gray show up blue like my white areas (not surprised). By the second wash the white was more the color I was looking for, but now after having the darker color, I think I will go with it since it will last a little longer being blue after some washings. I do love it when it is just a hint, but the darker blue is actually fun (once I got use to seeing it). It really is interesting. I'm thinking of getting green to mix with the blue and go for teal!

This product is revolutionary and has completely changed my life. It's expensive you don't get a lot of drops and that's the way this product is take it or leave it. I use the white blonde toner on my platinum hair and four drops with conditioner for 15 minutes leaves me with white blonde. I also purchased the hot pink and sometimes I'll do six drops of that in conditioner for a pastel pink hair. This stuff isn't cheap and it's not supposed to be. There's not supposed to be thousands of drops in the bottle. If it's not working for you, I recommend you watch some YouTube videos.

Adore the unique shade that my hair took to the dye, but one thing I will say the drops consistency is thick so the dropper does not work well with the direction (saying like 5 drops or 4 drops to achieve this hair shade). So, given that the thickness attributes to the amount of times you would be able to use the product I was only able to use it 2 times. But it does come with a cute matching silicone bowl And lil spooner so ya!

Followed all the instructions to a T. Knew I had put a leave-in conditioner on my hair the night before, so before even doing a test strand, I washed & dried my hair. Did the test strand, didn't see any change at all, thought, "Well, I just didn't put enough drops in." (Which was 2 drops for 2 ounces of conditioner.) So, I mix up a big batch. Fill their bowl to the fill line with conditioner, add, what felt like... A LOT of product. Lol. We're talking - 6 pipettes. Not DROPS. But full droppers. (And I'll come back to an issue with this in a sec.) ... Mix it up, apply it thoroughlybto dry hair. With a brush. Section by section. Allowed it to sit for an HOUR. Rinse with lukewarm water... Blow it dry. Yikes. Such a minute difference I feel like I've just wasted 2 hours of my life. 🥲 And I had HIGH hopes for this product! Loved the idea that I got to control the amount of color... But... Yeah. Lackluster results unfortunately. And the issue with the dropper/liquid is... That the bottle only seems to be about 3/4 full. And the pipette isn't very long. So, you really have to squeeze rapid fire, with it submerged, to get even half of it filled. And the consistency of the product is hard to measure by "drop" since it's very serum-like. It doesn't really form "drops" in a traditional sense (compare to something liquid, like eye drops). Anyway... This may work with their more vibrant colors? And on a full level 10 blonde... Or maybe even severely damaged/porous hair would absorb it better? I don't know. My hair is bleached (and freshly so)... Not a level 10, but not a brunette either lol. 🤷🏼♀️ It is what it is.

I got this to try on purple hair color for a while, without committing myself to a haircut if I looked foolish. I tried the smallest number of drops recommended, along with a fairly good amount of conditioner, as my hair is quite long. I got next to nothing. I decided I was going to go for broke. I put all the remaining dye in the leftover conditioner, and applied it to dry hair. I then sat for an hour under a shower cap, to give my hands the best chance to stay put. (I used to time to clean up with purple smudges that covered my bathroom). This time, the color was much more intense, and was so conditioned that it felt like silk. All of my white hair was purple, in varying shades. My dark blonde hair was turned dark brown, with the occasional white hair that looked lilac against the dark brown. It was very pretty, and got compliments wherever I went. About 4 days later, I decided to wash it for the fist time after coloring it. Purple foam filled my shower, and 95% of the beautiful purple shade was gone. The white hair had the slightest tint of lavender, and the dark brown hair was back to dark blonde. I think that this would be best used when a child wanted a fun shade for a party or during summer vacation. The dye has no harmful chemicals in it, so I wouldn't worry about making my very blonde daughter into a little green sprout. I was told that if any dye remained after shampooing, then a few sudsing with Head and Shoulders shampoo would remove all the remaining color. As for me, I got a true Semi-Permanent dye, colored my hair purple once again and have had reasonably good results. I'd never use permanent dye in such a color on my hair, because the chemical reaction can be very uncomfortable and it would damage my very fine, very soft hair. But I would recommend this for a fun weekend!

My hair is the blonde in 2nd pic and I died the ends with the pink. I put it just in my conditioner but the picture with all pink I put the drops in my shampoo and conditioner and let it sit for about 10 min. It does wash out gradually if you don’t redo every few days. You can add more drops to make it brighter or less to do lighter. I love it cause you add to your own hair products and it doesn’t damage your hair like others. It can stain your shower or clothes but just be smart and wash it off your bathroom asap and wear gloves if you don’t want your hands stained. Overall I give it a 5/5!
