Much smaller; Should have ordered “Cross cut” with a larger basket. This shredder has a very small basket; and because it is NOT Cross Cut, the capacity is very small, meaning the need to empty is way too frequent. It does have a nice “No jam” feature.

    • Auto and fwd just hum
Waste of money. Have yet to shred one page. Machine powers up, goes in reverse fine, press auto or fwd and the machine just hums. Not accepting any part of a page. Turned power off, rested overnight, tried the next day, same result. Sending back to Amazon. Buying another brand!

Nice little desktop shredder. Very lightweight. Durable and pretty quick to shred. Good value for the price. Nice to have to get rid of those important papers you don't need other's eyes to see.
