A wonderful Solo camera. Excellent features, pictures, and clear HD-like video. Notification in real-time of events. The Eufy app is fantastic, so many wonderful functionality. Easy to install and configure. One of the best part is you buy it you own it and setup Eufy app, configure it to WiFi and it works outstandingly. No subscription. I love it. No more monthly bills from home security Companies that's overcharging month after month. I recommend Eufy, the E42 4K camera wireless outdoor Solar Powered is masterful. I recommend it. So far this is one of my favorite Eufy solo cams. The mounting was very easy Vader quality is amazing at 4K and they value for the money is great. Battery life is very good and the camera seems very durable. Hopefully this lasts me a long time.

Of course I did not buy the most expensive cameras eufy has to offer but these have been pretty good. Being able to connect the cameras to both the homebase 3 and a WiFi connection is great (mind you the cameras only support 2.4Ghz). The customization with the cameras in the app is great. You can set up different angles of where you want to have the cameras pointing. Battery life has been amazing so far. The downsides: 1. It can be slow sometimes connection to the cameras within the app (granted it’s not the most expensive cameras they offer and only use 2.4Ghz). 2. The quality control can be better. I had a camera that came defective and I cannot use it at night because the infrared is messed up so it only works during the day (I tried talking to customer support but it was kind of a mess, they did offer me $45 back and I took it). 3. Ai is a great feature such as human tracking and what not but it still has a ways to go. 4. You specifically need to buy a 2.5” drive and not a 3.5” drive (not a big let down but for those who are not tech savvy, they may not know and just buy any drive so it would have been cool if it can accept both). Lastly, I do not know how these cameras will do with regular WiFi connections like to an AT&T or Xfinity gateway. I am fortunate enough to have a deco mesh wifi system where I can tell the gateway to only connect to the cameras via the 2.4Ghz band instead of the cameras connecting to the 5Ghz band by mistake. Overall these cameras have been great.

This camera does it all. It was easy to install, the app has a lot of settings to control how you want it to monitor. You can set schedules to alarm when you're not home or when you're sleeping. The video quality is great day and night. I am impressed with this product for it's price. We bought an SD card, no monthly subscription.

After a very long research, I've decided to go for Eufy over aosu. The deciding factors were a friend who has their vacuum & the fact the eufy has the AI built in without any extra charge. Installation was easy, everything simplified. The app works great and the cameras hold charge well plus they show how they charge during the day. The picture quality is very good, the AI captures faces and enables me to label them. Best of all, when people come near, the camera starts following them which freaks people out and they leave thinking someone is watching them live. Only complaints I have is the ability to reorder the screens in the app and the fact that the screws are soft and stripped in the installation. Their customer support was great and replacement bases are on the way as we speak. So overall, this is a winner, 5 stars all the way. I am blown away by the tech and I plan to buy their other products to add to the hub. Thank you!

1 month in, generally a good product. It met all my requirements for video quality, modularity, no power requirement. The solar panel works really well and provides sufficient power to keep the camera power at 100% most of the time. The camera is very efficient and overnight usually drops to mid 95% power level. I like the tracking feature where camera follows the motion. One great feature is built in AI that allows you to track cars and individuals only and ignores everything else. Most other modular cameras require monthly subscription for that function. The camera also has the capability to integrate and write on a remote recording hub which adds an additional layer of protection for your video recordings. Things that could improve are the attachment bracket which is a very fragile plastic part that makes it easy to snatch. The motion capture is somewhat slow and does not kick in fast enough for faster moving objects, like cars, and you don't get to see it coming until the subject is almost out to the view. Over all I would definitely recommend it.
