I needed a paper shredder that would let the staples on paper stay on. Cleaning out years of documents,I didnt have time to unstaple hundreds of sheets. This shredder not only allows your staples on, also shreds unwanted DVD's,CD's, cardboard, credit cards, into little confetti bits of pcs. If you need colorful confetti for New Yrs Eve, maybe use colored construction paper as an add on! It also has an automatic shutoff after not in use. Rolls on wheels ,so you can roll it over easily without lifting.

Love this shredder! So far I haven't had any paper jams. I like how there is a window so you can see when it's getting full (and it's satisfying watching the paper shred). It takes a decent amount of paper at a time, it's pretty quiet, and I like that it's on wheels so I can easily move it around. I'd definitely recommend this product!

Much better than the 15 year old shredder we replaced. It is quieter, easy to empty, great value. I do not use it to shred computer CD's or credit cards since I think that is what killed our previous shredder. It does show full before it is really full, but you can open the drawer, push the shredding down and do more. I really like the on-off switch in the back.
