    • Exactly what I was looking for
This is perfect for the heavy sleeper. I’ve struggled with waking up to a normal alarm clock my whole life. This “shock watch” as I call it, does a great job. The settings allow one to change the “shock” intensity in increments of “5%”. 100% isn’t that bad but I find myself using 45%-75% is sufficient. Note, I’ve got a high tolerance for pain so I use the “shock” feature on the soft “underside” of my wrist rather than the top of my wrist. Battery life is great, only got to charge it once a week. Only negatives are: instructions are lacking but, it’s pretty intuitive to use. Also, the power cable that shipped with mine didn’t work. I purchased this on 3/24/22 with very high expectations. I read the reviews and saw there were quality concerns. I chose to purchase anyways. Horrible mistake. I contacted customer service on 3/27/22 because the alarm was not working properly. The device would shut off completely during the night and not go off. Customer service is absolutely useless, they told me to charge it for a minimum of 5 hours although it had 100% battery life. This did not resolve my problem. As of 4/4/22 I removed the device from the supplied charging cable and the entire device came apart in my hand. I have contacted customer service with no resolution to my issue. This product is beyond sub par and customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Save your self the time and the money and NEVER purchase from pavlok. Their products are over priced and the quality is absolutely bottom tier. The performance and customer service is absolutely unacceptable. Photos are included. ... show more

    • Does what it says but be warned
I got this as I am a heavy sleeper who's sleep schedule keeps getting completely ef'd. I will say it works great, the band is not comfortable and rather annoying, kinda like having a block of rubber on your wrist. But I do wake up when it goes off. NOW let me warn you, first time I tried this I set the shock at 40% and it was literally like touching an electric cow fence but in a pin point spot on your arm and it will piss you off and you will want to rip it off before the 2nd shock goes off. Even on 10% strength the shock is not pleasant but does what it says. NOW the vibrate is STRONG, so strong I've found out I don't need the shock anymore THANK BABY YODA. The biggest downfall is the band IMO. Its uncomfortable and due to the type of material it is, gets stuck on long sleeves or things. Havent looked into if they have nicer bands, but I know you can at least get them made as Ive seen a professional comedian use this on stage to remind himself to smile at the crowd more every 3mins lol. ... show more

This watch is a great idea, and has been invaluable-when it works. Shortly after I purchased this device, it stopped working. The original review below speaks for itself. A Pavlok rep reached out to me, and all is well again. Let’s just say that if you’re willing to work with Pavlok, Pavlok is willing to work with you. —————- Pavlok 2 stopped working after 2.5 months Followed all troubleshooting steps. When the alarm goes off, the app works like it should but there is no vibrating/shocking from the device. It’s useless now. When I select the “contact support” on the app, I receive a “something’s gone wrong” image. Great satire, but it looks like Pavlok is unable (unwilling?) to provide any support for a defective item. Do I really just have an expensive 2.5 month-old paperweight? ... show more
