This is my second Shield Life heated mattress. First I bought a queen then a twin. The Queen is still working but the twin stopped working after a month and a half. It is plugged in but the dial flashes on and off and there is no heat. Very disappointed.

The cord from the pad to the controller is way too short. It's only about 2-3 long. It attaches on the left side of the pad, and, since my full mattress is up against a wall, it has to be put in the middle of the pillow area. I've managed to velcro it to the head board, but it's ugly and pretty hard to use. Otherwise, I like the product. It's just really thoughtless of them not to make a longer cord, even if the long cord was a paid for add-on.

I can only set this at 1 or I get too hot. I was freezing without it. I love that it's preheated and cozy when I get in bed, and I sleep through the night, unlike without it. I hope it's really safe like it says it is. I wish it was both hot and cold, so I could use it to keep cool in the summer!

I love this product! It heats up very quickly and make getting into bed cozy and soothing. I can feel the stress anf tightness leaving my body and the heat feels so good! I turn it on for about 30 minutes before I get into bed and turn it off when I'm falling asleep. If I wake up and feel cold at all, I just turn it back on for few minutes and I'm all cozy again. This has been great for my arthritis and overall, I'm sleeping better!
