  • For every day, cleaning and ease of use this is perfect
Color: Rose Gold Style: without HEPA Empty Base
This is a wonderful, fast easy and lightweight way to vacuum your floor. It does not pick up the finer or finest particles, but I need some thing for dog hair, and whatever mess my dogs get into, including extra kibbles, flung all over the floor. This vacuum works well for these types of situations. The batteries do go down quickly, but I am able to quickly vacuum a two bedroom one bath bungalow home in the 15 to 20 minute time frame of the battery. I have use the handheld piece of the vacuum to do my basement stairs and that’s where the magic was. It worked great I am still getting used to how you empty the cylinder with the debris edit sometimes I am able to drop it right into the trashcan other times I end up, dropping it on the floor right beside the trashcan I have discovered a fail proof way to do it is empty it in the handheld mode, which gives you more control of where the cylinder goes. I’d definitely give this two thumbs up even though there were a lot of negative comments that I read before I purchased it. ... show more

  • Perfect for a small apartment
Color: Rose Gold Style: without HEPA Empty Base
I purchased this after reading many reviews on this and other units. This light weight stick vacuum is perfect for me because , hello, no cord to trip over!! The suction works well if you keep canister emptied. Love how it maneuvers into any spot with ease and it’s so simple to switch up the components, for example the small brush for pet hair. On the negative, the battery charge doesn’t last too long but that doesn’t affect me too much ( small apartment) and also both tools don’t fit on the charging stand neatly, not sure why they made a designated space for only one. I got rose gold and it’s pretty to boot, lol! ... show more

  • Winner: light-weight, strong suction, self-cleaning roller, and automated emptying of wand/stick!
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
The light weight of the Shark cordless wandvac system, the surprisingly strong suction, the self-cleaning roller, and the automatic emptying of the wand/stick make it an absolute winner. It is the best stick vac I have used in my 73 years of trying to keep up with quick cleans. I have two 50 pound dogs, so hair on the floor is always proclaiming the need for vacuuming. I use the Shark cordless wandvac primarily on hardwood and tiled floors, but tried it on my dogs' day-cushions by the front door. I posted a photo of the top, printed side of the cushion so you can see the difference one sweep of the wandvac clearly made. The strong suction did not grab the fabric nor did it begin to wrap any fabric around the self-cleaning roller. It was just one simple sweep and the wandvac did an amazingly thorough job! Then, I took a photo of the back sides so you could see the hair on one cushion not yet vacuumed and the amazing difference of the cleaned one next to it. I will definitely use the wandvac on room-sized rugs for quick cleaning central areas. I have already used it on hardwood and tile floors requiring transition over throw rugs, and again, there was no grabbing from the suction - just a smooth transition thoroughly cleaning both surfaces. Five minor issues I would suggest for consideration to the manufacturer: 1)The button to open and empty the main stick filter manually is right below the "on" button and can be erroneously pushed and drop all the debris back on the floor. However, the automated emptying works great, so you just have to be aware to not accidentally push the wrong button. 2)Also, you need to look carefully when placing the stick back in the charging unit, to make sure the back goes carefully into the two-sided slot rather than hanging a little bit crooked and not making the connections to clean out the stick and to recharge the stick. 3)The viewing area to determine when the charger unit's larger cup needs cleaning is hard to see. I would like for the clear viewing area to be larger and I'd like to not have to bend over with a flashlight to be able to tell how full it is. 4) There is a single location to store one of the two accessories on the stick. I would like to see both accessories stored together. A slightly different design could allow one accessory to nest inside the other, thus storing both and having access for quick use. 5)As with all stick vacs and most larger vacs, the hose and openings for debris are rather small - one inch or so? A larger opening might help to clear larger pieces of debris that currently cause a clog that must be found and cleared manually. I don't know if this could be done without losing suction power, which would be the only thing that would be reasonable to forego addressing this universal problem, to me as a consumer, at least. In the meantime. I have used Shark vacuum tools for many years, and have enjoyed the changes and improvements when I upgraded to a new version! I also purchased an expensive brand when it first came out with revolutionary changes. Shark has provided much lower-priced, yet dependably efficient products for many years now. Thanks, Shark!! ... show more

  • Lightweight But Horrible in Any Other Way
Color: White Style: with HEPA Empty Base
I got this for my 625 sq. ft apartment. Carpet is only on about half that (bedroom and tiny hallway) and is a low pile. From the getgo, I was disappointed in it. It would only pick up about half of the hair on my carpet, and the so-called "no hair wrap" fins were getting overloaded. I thought that it was just because my carpet was already a mess so I just needed to give the vacuum time to get through all of the layers, since it's not meant for deep cleaning. But it wouldn't even pick up debris from my tile floors. I would vacuum and then have to sweep after it to get the stuff it wouldn't suck up. Hair, crumbs, little paper bits, things that should've been in the vacuum's wheelhouse but weren't. When the vacuum does suck up something, the hose to the dust bin is so small that most things can't fit in it. Popcorn gets stuck and has to be fished out with a snake tool. I have never experienced a vacuum that was so picky and finicky about what it can or can't actually pick up and dispose of. The self-emptying emptying system is also worthless. It is loud when it empties into the charging base, but it doesn't actually empty. It gets stuck halfway between the vacuum and the charging base, so that when you pick up the vacuum the next time, it dumps everything back onto the floor. The entry point for the debris is even more finicky about what it does and doesn't accept than the hose size of the vacuum. Manually emptying out the vacuum and turning off the self-emptying feature is just easier and saves yourself from a lot of headache. A day or two after I started to use it, the vacuum started to make noises like it was clogged. But I couldn't find anything lodged or any reason what would be causing it. This was just regular vacuuming on carpet for hair. It sounded quiet right out of the box, but then the sound changed. When it's actually clogged (which happens a lot), it'll make a high-pitched squealing/whistling noise before turning itself off. The fact that it can be taken apart and made into a hand vacuum is handy. But it means nothing since the vacuum doesn't actually function. I tried to use it to vacuum out my car and the mats, but it left half the stuff behind. I'm pretty sure giving the mats a thorough shake did more good than the vacuum did. I had to basically press the brush (and then the bare vacuum tube when I got frustrated by the brush) right on top of the crumbs for it to do anything. Speaking of the brush and what I am assuming is a corner/edge tool, there's literally nowhere to put one of them. The charging base only has a slot for one, and then I have the other one free to the side of the slot. Every time I move the vacuum, the free-floating attachment falls off the base. I guess they assume one will just be permanently attached to the vacuum, even though the vacuum can't be fully re-assembled with one of them in? Taking the vacuum apart to transition from vacuum to hand vacuum and back again goes smoothly. None of the buttons have gotten stuck on me or anything, though they can be a bit...fun to remember where they are each time. And the vacuum can't stand freely when put altogether. The head can stand on its own, but not when the battery and handle compartment are attached. I don't know if this is common with wireless vacuums, but it is surprisingly annoying to deal with. If you have to shimmy a piece of furniture out of the way, you have to account for the fact that your vacuum might not get a good grip on the thing you leaned it on and it'll fall to the floor. The final nail in the vacuum's coffin was when I tried to clean my mattress by sprinkling baking soda on it and letting it sit for most of the day. I tried to vacuum it, and my vacuum just up and died. Somehow it must've gotten into an important bit of the vacuum, despite me using it normally, and now my vacuum is perpetually acting like it's clogged. The charging base takes as much real estate as a regular upright vacuum does, so you save no space when getting this one. And it takes up an outlet essentially 24/7 which a regular vacuum doesn't. The only two good points in this vacuum is that it is lightweight, feels like nothing when you carry it or when you are using it, and that the transitioning is effortless. You can't do anything once you get to where you need to vacuum and turn it into a hand vacuum, but the process goes great nonetheless. I don't think this vacuum is worth trying to get it fixed. Already have a new one in my cart for my next paycheck. Do yourself a favor and buy whatever other vacuum you are looking at. This one ain't it. I did all of the research and knew it was going to be best for smaller spaces and thought it was the one. But it wasn't. ... show more
