We love this new vacuum. It is powerful and picks up a lot of dirt. Since it uses a battery, it eases cleaning chores by eliminating messing around with a cord. This is especially true on stairs - no need to walk back up a flight to unplug. The compactness makes working on stairs a lot easier as well. And, now I can vacuum my car without unwinding (and rewinding!) an extension cord! We bought it as Amazon 'renewed', in 'excellent' condition. It is new as far as I can tell, just no box or manual. Manual is easy enough to find on the internet, and is only about a dozen pages.

I am super impressed by this cordless stick vac. For $150, she works amazing. Very powerful suction, not cheaply put together. Quieter than my previous Shark and battery life is absolutely sufficient. I have not run out of battery yet and I put it to work every day (recharging along the way of course). But I haven’t run out of battery to do what I need to get done. My Dyson runs out of battery quicker than this. I was considering buying a $300 model and I’m so glad I decided to try this one first. Not at all disappointed.

I bought this as a refurbished vacuum and the reviews are right - it sucked EVERYTHING out of my carpet, and now I vacuum my kitchen floor vs sweeping since this is so easy to use/maneuver around. It also folds in half and takes up much less space to store than any other vacuum I’ve had (26”x10”x10”). I’m definitely impressed with it and recommend getting a cordless Shark. The one thing I would change is the battery life. It only charges to 80% and will run for about 10-15 minutes. I live in a small apartment so this isn’t a problem for me but it could be for others. I’ve tried calling the number for the refurbishment place to see about sending it back to get it to run the full 50 minutes like most other people have had it do but no one answers the phone (I don’t trust that they would honor the 90 day warranty if anything else goes wrong). If it dies in the next couple years I’ll buy a new one, not a refurbished one.

No better suction available in a cordless machine. Easily performs as well or better than any cordless Dyson, and for a fraction of the price. Had to get in touch with their support, which was very quick & easy. I called because the Brushroll Cover, #109FCH800, was catching on the nap when run in certain direction on our ancient rugs. We concluded the nap was folded over due to wear, and this issue couldn't be helped. Actually, I had the exact same problem with the sole plate on one of my 50 year old Royals. I decided to keep it, and simply vacuum those rugs in other directions... Not a real big deal. The performance is well worth this slight inconvenience to me. Honestly, this unit has as much vacuum power and agitation as most modern corded vacs! It's all plastic, so I don't expect it to last 50 years, but its features easily trump that negative.

This was a fantastic vacuum for a year until the motor started having issues. We took it in to a local shop and they said they are not able to fix as they are not even able to get replacement parts. So $280 for a used vacuum for only a year and not even being able to fix it. Buy anything other than a Shark.

I have only bought shark vacuums since they came out with the first white corded pet vacuum. I have never been disappointed until this one. The vacuum itself works great. Don’t love the bending option as when it’s up right and your pushing it you can feel the give where it almost wants to fold up on you. To remove the trash canister you have to take the vacuum apart. If you empty the trash container while it’s still on the vacuum you get dust all over the vacuum and floor. The part that really sucks!!! This vacuum has three setting and if you use the full power setting over the battery power saver settings your given about 20min of vacuum life. (Maybe enough time to get half my one bedroom apartment done) Having dogs I feel the high power for the constant suction is necessary. Also the main reason I’ve always bought shark is for its suction power and cleaning power. The other two options are for non carpeted flooring in my book. Will be buying a second battery but not impressed for the first time with Shark.

I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase! Works like a champ. Great for my lower back issues. I'd only ask for longer battery life as well as a thinner base at the bottom to fit under shorter or lower openings, otherwise, worth the purchase.

Excellent vacuum I was looking at a Dyson and for a much lower price I found this shark stick vacuum refurbished. My son has a Dyson and he came over and tried it. He thought it was much quieter and had similar suction and some nice features for reaching under furniture. All in all, I would recommend this product highly I’ve only had it for a month or two but so far I’m very pleased.
