Don't worry about this vacuum being "renewed". The vacuum I received was packaged very nicely and I needed to look at it very closely to see that it was not a factory sealed new unit. It has one very small scratch that only I would notice. Woot says it has a 90 warranty. Pros: 1. Easy to assemble and easy to use. 2. Plenty of suction on all surfaces even thick carpet. It is removing cat hair from the carpet that my previous two upright vacuums missed. 3. Battery life is more than enough for my needs. 4. All of the features and attachments work as advertised. 5. I expected it to be louder than it is. The motor unit is quiet. The beater bar makes most of the noise. 6. It is light and easy to push even on my thick carpet. Cons: 1. The tube has a slight amount of flex where it connects with the motor unit. 2. I wish the dust cup was a bit bigger. That's it. Summary: It is exactly what it needed for my small house. This cordless is much lighter than my heavy vacuum. Picks up really well. Easy to assemble. Believe me, if I can do it, anybody can!!

I’m happy with this shark rocket stick vacuum. It has good suction with two different settings: one for carpet and one for hardwood floors. It’s easy to clean and doesn’t require a bag, which is awesome. However, the battery only lasted 25 minutes running at the slower speed. I will be buying a second battery, so that I can vacuum my entire house at one time. The vacuum will not stand up by itself because it is top-heavy like others have said. I purchased the shark wall mount separately but returned it because it was ridiculous. There’s no way it would hold the shark vacuum. It was more of a balancing act. It’s a good vacuum. I’m happy with the purchase, but I gave it four stars because of the short battery life. Shark needs to fix this. ... show more

I bought this for myself but like it so much I would gift it to family and friends. It's lightweight and compact yet still is powerful! My only complaint is that the canister is small and fills up quickly. But that's not a bad thing....it means it's doing its job! It truly picks up dirt and pet hair. It doesn't tangle or clog. I've never ever had to use a seam ripper to cut away hair or fur from the brush. I wish I had bought this vacuum years ago. If this one stops working, I'm buying it again!! ... show more

I used this to replace a Dyson, the internal hose split and as trying to replace it other plastic parts broke. I have 2 cats and picks up the cat fur well. The only downside is the battery does not last to do the whole house which is not big. Have also used the tools to clean the inside of my car and truck, works good for that as well. ... show more

    • EDIT: lasted 3 weeks.
This thing worked wonderfully for the first 3 weeks. Then it died. Contacted shark. They have sent 3 replacements. The last one June of 2023. Now there is no suction and I called shark customer service and we tested it to know specifically that it's the motor not the filters, but they will not pursue a replacement. First I have to spend $30 purchasing new filters. And her words were "after you install the new filters, if the problem persists you can call us back. She then said if it didn't solve the problem I COULD be credited the purchase price. (I guess they get to keep that nearly 100% shipping fee)" We had just taken off all the filters (I already told her I'd cleaned the filters and all her tests showed the filters were clean) and tested the suction coming from the motor-with no filters-and there was none. So it's not the filter. But I have to spend $27.95 to have them mail me new filters that they know aren't the problem. And she just swears if the filters aren't the problem I'll get a credit for them for anything further. I'm really trying to tell you it's not worth it. The $27.95? It's actually $15.95 one foam filler and one super thin fabric filter. $9.95 shipping. For comparison, my apartment is 486 square feet and it is full of all full size furniture (including 2 3 ft ottomans and a queen sized bed) and it uses almost 2 battery lights. If you vacuum too slowly it overheats. I have one dog who barely sheds baby fine short fur. Her chest and belly are bald. From June to January it performed beautifully. But this is the 3rd one and the motor is dead and they forcing me to purchase unnecessary parts to do a warranty claim. Don't do it ... show more

So first and foremost I’d like to say that shipping does take a while(not what one is use to through Amazon prime) , and it almost looks like it’s not shipping out, however, it is this could be a UPS issue though. It is super light, and for as little as it is, it does have pretty decent selection. Definitely not the section of a full size vacuum but I’m sure all of us who are purchasing stick vacuums expect that. The product did come in a generic brown box instead of the original packaging, and the item itself had very little “scuffs” on it (obviously from it being a refurbished product) bottom line, though I am satisfied with my purchase. The vacuum works as it should. However, the battery life isn’t super great. I was able to vacuum my whole home (I live in a mobile home) but considering how small my places I would say that you should purchase an extra battery if you have a large home ... show more
