I’ve been using the Shark CH951 UltraCyclone Pet Pro Plus Cordless Handheld Vacuum since 2021, and honestly, it’s still going strong. That’s saying a lot considering how often I use it – pretty much every day. Whether it’s crumbs on the kitchen floor, pet hair on the couch, or a quick sweep in the car, this little vacuum has held up surprisingly well over the years. The design is lightweight and easy to maneuver, which makes it a total breeze to use for quick cleanups. I don’t have to wrestle with cords or drag out the full-sized vacuum – just grab and go. The XL dust cup is definitely a bonus; I can go days before needing to empty it, even with regular use. Battery life is decent – it’s nothing groundbreaking, but it gets the job done. I’d say the runtime is about average for a cordless handheld vacuum. I usually get through my daily cleaning routine on a single charge, and charging it back up is pretty quick and easy. As for the suction, it’s not bad at all. It’s more than enough for surface debris, hard floors, furniture, and even car floor mats. Unfortunately the suction is not strong enough for car upholstery. It handles pet hair surprisingly well, especially with the motorized brush attachment, which I use constantly. That said, I do wish it had a bit more power for carpeted areas. It works, but you’ll likely have to go over spots a few times to get everything up, especially if it’s something ground-in, and even then it won't fully clean the surface. That’s probably my only real complaint. One thing I really appreciate is that the filters are inexpensive and easy to replace. I’ve changed them a few times over the years, and it hasn’t been a hassle or a big cost. Super easy to swap them out, and you’re good to go. It’s also held up really well physically – no cracks, no fading, and the battery hasn’t noticeably declined in performance, even after a few years of regular use. Another gripe would be the see-through portion of the vacuum is impossible to clean. That kind of longevity isn’t something I take for granted with cordless appliances. One thing I've noticed is there will be a ton of leftover debris visible through the clear plastic, and you are unable to clean that portion out. All in all, this vacuum has been a reliable part of my daily routine. It's great for quick cleanups, especially if you’ve got pets. If you’re looking for a solid handheld vacuum that will last, I’d definitely recommend this one or any of the Shark cordless vacuums. Just don’t expect it to deep clean your carpets like a full-size vacuum – it’s more for maintenance than a full scrub-down. Bottom line: After 3+ years of daily use, this thing still works great. It’s reliable, easy to maintain, and handles most everyday messes without any drama. I’m giving it 4 stars mainly because I wish the suction was a little stronger on carpets, but overall, it’s a solid buy. ... show more

Got this to use on small messes, stairs and our couches. Works very well! We have two cats and a dog, this has helped me in my nightly clean ups around the house in getting up fur of the couches. Battery will not last all day, but it last long enough for quick clean ups and cleaning the stairs.

This is the best handheld vac I’ve ever owned. I use the soft brush attachment to keep my wood floor crumbs from up under my kitchen cabinet base. I use the smooth attachment to lightly lift dust from my Amish built tweed sofa. I use the crevice tool to pick up crumbs around the garbage can and I pick up wood pieces from my fireplace hearth. I also use the crevice tool to deep vac my dryer lint trap and my baseboards. I have owned this hand vac for a year and the suction is consistent and amazing. It hold a charge for a week and blinks when it’s getting low on charge. It’s easy to empty and to clean the filter. It’s durable and easy t use. The noise level is commensurate to its effectiveness and certainly a great value for the money. I will never use a different brand. It’s the perfect hand vac to complete the job of my robot and large vacuum. It reaches beside toilets, behind my freestanding tub and around and behind end tables. Such a time saver I’ve bought it for my daughters for their home that have pets and they also say it’s the best handheld vac they’ve ever owned. BUY IT! ... show more

Edit: called up their service line, which was a little tedious but service fixed the problem quick with a replacement being mailed out. So great service, but there are still there are some drawbacks. We've had this vacuum for less than a year. It has a nice set of attachments. Suction is pretty decent for a unit of this size. The pet hair/carpet rolling suction attachment is a nice idea but it's not super effective in getting off cat and fine dog hair. It probably would be okay for thicker hair. It's clearly a bit more premium than the cheaper units you can find at Amazon. Build quality generally is okay, and the unit has a nice weight and balance to it. The worst thing about this vacuum is that it's incredibly fragile. Over repeated inserting and removal of the different attachments the tip shattered. As far as I can tell it's not replaceable. We use this maybe 1x a week, so it's not due to heavy use. Looking at this, once the tip shatters further, it's over, that's the end of the unit because you can't attach anything to it. The cracks are slowly making their way down the side and it's a matter of time (a few months?) before we won't be able to use this unit anymore. Other things that aren't deal breakers but aren't great either: (1) the cleanout buttons get stuck really easily and it can take a lot of strength to pop open the buttons. My mother for instance can't push hard enough with her hands and has to gets spoon or something to pop it open, and my wife struggles to open it. (2) the lack of an affordable mount is just silly. If you call them up you'll be told it costs like $30 total to get a base you can plug this into. It makes this unit much less aesthetic and inconvenient than other systems that come with a base, or have an affordable base that isn't 3/5 the cost of the vacuum. I wouldn't take any stars off for this though, you should expect it as it's pretty clear there is no base or mount for this thing. Still, c'mon Shark, you're kind of a premium brand compared to other vacuums you can get around here. (3) The suction isn't bad but isn't awesome and has been getting worse over time -- and it's been less than a year as I mentioned. Might be the broken tip, might be fading batteries. Neither are great. (4) as some other reviewers mentioned the suction comes out of a very small tip which makes surface cleaning tedious because you have a small high suction strip or a wide low section bar. ... show more

Love my shark, and that it is wireless. It has great suction, the speed is great as well, and Picks up wonderful. My two issues that could be improved would be the battery life as it does not last longer. The second is making a little easier to open when it’s time to empty.
