This is light weight and easy to use. The water container lasts for a 1500sqft house. It does amazing things to linoleum grime and dog slobber. You can use it to maintain already clean grout, but if grout is dirty, you’re gonna need to address that first via some other method. I’d prefer a cordless model, but the cord is long enough to get to most of a room, so I won’t complain too much. One thing I don’t like is that there is no off switch. I’ve had to walk across wet floor to unplug it, and even my dogs know you don’t walk across a freshly mopped floor! I still give it a 5 star because I mopped my whole house without giving myself an achy back.

I have four cats, and keeping my floors clean is a constant challenge. After trying various cleaning tools, I finally decided to invest in the Shark Steam & Scrub S8201 — and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. This steam mop has transformed my cleaning routine. The rotating pads make it effortless to remove dirt and grime from my hardwood and tile floors. The three steam modes - Light, Normal, and Deep allow me to adjust the cleaning intensity based on the mess at hand. The Deep mode, in particular, has been a lifesaver for tackling stubborn stains. One feature I absolutely love is the Steam Blaster. With just a touch of a button, it releases a powerful burst of steam, helping to lift even the most stubborn spots without the need for harsh chemicals. It's been especially useful in areas where my cats tend to track in dirt. The LED headlights are another thoughtful addition. They illuminate hidden debris, ensuring that no spot is overlooked during cleaning. Plus, the mop is lightweight and glides smoothly, making the entire process quick and efficient. Another bonus is the machine washable pads. After each use, I simply toss them in the wash, and they're ready for the next round of cleaning. One note: The price of the product dropped after I purchased it - I was just slightly outside the return window. While I was a little disappointed by that, I want to stress that the Shark Steam & Scrub S8201 is still worth every penny. It performs excellently and has made a noticeable difference in how clean my floors are. If you're a pet owner or someone who values a clean home, I highly recommend the Shark Steam & Scrub S8201. It's been a game changer for me, and I believe it will be for you too.

I’ve been using the Steam Pickup Mop for a little while now, and overall, I like it—but it took me a few days to figure that out. The biggest win is that my floors no longer feel sticky, which was my main goal. That said, it’s not perfect. For stuck-on messes, you need to go over the spot several times to get it clean. Also, the built-in light is basically useless. I own a Dyson Absolute Detect, and the green light on that is a total game changer—it highlights dirt and residue clearly. In contrast, the mop’s light showed nothing, and I had to bring the vacuum back out just to see what was really left behind. I ended up buying a separate green light attachment, and that made a noticeable difference. One minor downside: the added light makes it harder to get into corners, so I have to adjust the mop more than I’d like. It would be great if the manufacturer included a proper green detection light, especially given the price of the unit. A few more things: it doesn’t polish the floors (which makes sense—it’s a steam mop), and I wish the water tank was larger. Still, I couldn’t find another option that combined the features I needed with lightweight, versatile design. So while I don’t love it, and I do think it’s overpriced, I’ve grown to appreciate it. It gets the job done, and my floors definitely feel cleaner.

I would buy this again. In fact I have! I bought one for an elderly family member who was having a hard time pushing a mop back and forth (along with all the other daily chores in life). And this made a "daunting" task much easier. After seeing how much he loved it and how it just made moping so effortless, I got one for myself, not that I needed it but I liked how it made me excited about mopping. Ahh it's the little things! It gives a nice deep clean without all the manual labor. Its so easy to manuver I can hold it with a finger and it does the work for me. Just point and it goes. (Now I dont do that the entire time I'm using it, but you get the point.) It uses distilled water which is normal for steam machines and I can do an entire room on level three with a full tank or do three rooms on level one, more or less. The cord length is generous. I like that it has lights in the lower front to help show the dirt and that the lights are easy on the eyes because they're not in your direct line of sight. That was smart and great for light sensitive people. I like that im using less chemicals in my house to clean since its just steam, but it works so well to get up stuff a vacuum can't. Because it's steam it takes a little while to dry the floors so I plan my route to where I'm ending at a couch or another room that I don't need to do so I can hang out and do things like amazon reviews while it dries. And there will be swirl marks as you mop but they go away once it dries. I'm planning on getting another set of the washable pads so I can separate kitchen, bath, living room etc. It seems to be well made. It's definitely worth the money spent. It's a perfect gift for an elderly person, anyone who needs to take it easy on their body or anyone who wants to deep clean with ease. I bet the kids would even start mopping with this thing. I'd say it's totally worth it. Give yourself a break and get it, or even gift it.
