    • Good robot vacuum
I have a golden retriever and 3 cats so to say I have a lot of animal fur would be an understatement. My entire house is hardwood floors and sweeping multiple times daily was getting exhausting. I did a lot of research to find a robot vacuum that would meet our needs and decided to order this Shark after reading many reviews. The suction power is great, almost too great, as my brush does need to be cleared a lot. The dustbin holds a lot of, and I don't have to empty it as often as I thought. The set up was easy, and I do like that there's an app so I can run the Shark even if I'm not home. It doesn't have any specific mapping or any ability to just clean a certain area, but at the time I didn't think I would need that and I'm not sure that I would at this point either. I like that you can set the suction power as there are some days there's a lot more kid crumbs and animal shedding and setting it on full power works really good. I love that the shark will go self empty after a certain amount of time. I have it set so it will charge back up and then finish up afterwards. It can get into many places, sometimes it seems like it gets a bit "confused" and it can sometimes miss an area, but then get it on the next run so I'm not sure if that's a sensor issue or what. Overall, I love my robot and it has saved me so much time and it has saved my back from sweeping multile times daily. ... show more

    • Good vacuum
It does have a good cleaning path. The app is easy to use, but the vaccine itself has issues keeping connection with WiFi.

Love this. I had a cheap generic robovac before this that lasted about a year before it broke. This one shows how the extra money for a nice one is worth it. The room mapping is amazing, it's insane to see it perfectly navigate around furniture after it learns it is there. It rarely gets stuck like the last one did and it has a great power to it. The 30-days without emptying though I have yet to believe, however I have had it a week so far but it looks pretty full already so I will see when I do actually have to empty it. I will say with the other comments that the app is a little junky. I constantly get notifications that the vacuum is stuck or on a cliff or there is an error and nothing is ever actually wrong. ***Update! The vacuum is going strong! The brushes that came on the unit ended up ripping off the base where they connect to the plastic bit that connects to the vac but I bought Amazon generic replacements and haven't had an issue since. Love this vacuum, total recommendation! The tank did end up holding its weight for capacity, I still won't say 1 month but it's long enough to not worry about it to often which is all that matters. Nowhere on this did it say this was a refurbished item. This thing came in a basic box (not a shark box) and was dirty. Not happy at all with this item. Came with zero instructions, and a piece of paper for refurbished warranty info

    • I freaking love this thing, even without the room mapping
This model does NOT have the room mapping feature where it lets you select specific rooms to clean or not clean. Other than that though this thing has exceeded my expectations. I would sweep and vacuum daily and still there’d be dog hair on the floor every time I walked in the house (I have one small dog who just snoozes when I’m not home). I had a robot vacuum before but it would get stuck and have no way to tell you and it eventually got stuck where I couldn’t find it for a while and ran its battery so completely out that it would never come back on, plus when it worked I’d have to empty it after every single run. And it wasn’t very efficient about getting every inch of a room. This thing self empties and I only empty that bin every few days, and that’s just out of curiosity, it could go even longer between emptying. It does a great job of getting an entire room, and it doesn’t suck up every possible thing it encounters on the floor that it shouldn’t like a dangling cord. I wish I had found this sooner. 10/10 recommend ... show more
