I am very happy with this purchase! I have carpal tunnel, so I was a little concerned about being able to hold up this vacuum, even though it is listed as lightweight. Surprisingly, I am able to maneuver it without any issue. I like the fact that it plugs in, so I do not have to worry about a battery running out. It also has a has a fairly long cord. Part of the reason that I purchased the Shark Rocket vs the Rocket pro, was due to my inability to carry around or handle more weight. Because it is lighter weight, this Shark Rocket has a smaller dirt container, which does need to be emptied after using it on 2-3 rooms, but this is not really a big deal for me as emptying the canister is pretty easy. This vacuum also has incredible suction. There are two section levels, one for traditional carpet, and the other for bare floors or small area rugs. This vacuum hurt my feelings, though. Even though I vacuumed regularly, it picked up much more dirt and lint than expected. I guess my last vacuum was not doing a great job. I also own a cordless Shark that sits on its own base and is self-emptying. It is a great product, but only works on bare floors. It does not work on carpet , which is why I needed to purchase another vacuum. This little Rocket glides easily from bare floors to carpet without issue. The Rocket does not stand on its own in the middle of a room; however, it stands steadily if leaned against the wall. The flat part on the back of the vacuum has a rubber grip, so it has proved easy to stand up, and has not scratched my walls. I am very happy with this Shark Rocket Ultra-Light Vacuum. It is lightweight, easy to maneuver, and does an excellent job picking up dirt, dust, and pet hair from both carpets and hard floors. The swivel steering makes it easy to clean around furniture and in tight spaces. One of the things I like most is how powerful it is for such a compact vacuum. It has strong suction and easily converts into a handheld unit, which is perfect for stairs, upholstery, and quick cleanups around the house. Assembly was simple, and the vacuum is easy to store because it doesn't take up much space. For the price, the performance is outstanding and compares very well to much more expensive models. This Rocket vacuum is honestly pretty awesome. I throw on my headphones on a Sunday, hit play, and suddenly I’m in a futuristic cleaning rave, cruising around the apartment like I’m piloting a spaceship with LED lights and serious suction power. One of my favorite features is how quickly the main handle detaches so I can use it as a handheld vacuum. It makes it easy to clean furniture, corners, tight spaces, and all the random little areas that usually get ignored. It also reaches under the bed really well, which is great because somehow that area collects enough dust to start its own little civilization. For hard floors, wood floors, and apartments with mostly smooth surfaces, this thing is perfect. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and makes cleaning feel way faster and more satisfying than it should. The only issue is that it does not love my bathroom rug. If you have thick, high-pile rugs or shag-style carpeting, this probably isn’t where it shines. But for hard floors and low-pile surfaces, it absolutely crushes it. Overall, I’m really happy with it. The Rocket is lightweight, powerful, versatile, and weirdly fun to use. It turns a regular Sunday cleaning session into a headphone-fueled space mission, and honestly, I’m here for it. So, my dirt devil vaccumm stopped working and I really did like that one. But I decided to invest in a high-quality vacuum. I purchased this when it was on sale. It was a very easy set-up. I love that the vaccum head was very flexible, when it comes to hovering low under the couch and dining table. Also, it curves the corner so well. I also love that the motor is at the top, which is why the head is flexible. The motor is easy to clip in and unclip. And it was so convenient to just unclip it to use it as a handheld vaccum, unlike my former vaccum where I had to Detach the middle part of the vaccum from the head and the body. Also, I haven't done this yet but I do love the fact that I can use it as a dust cleaner with this long hose. The suction is powerful, but I would like it to be more powerful since sometimes I have to roll over the same area more than once. On the other hand, it will be a great use to clean inside of the car. ... show more

Wish I would have purchased this long ago. It's super light so easy to transport up and down the stairs. Capable of using the long rod or shorter accessory mode to clean walls, ceiling fans, blinds, stairs. Excellent suction for pet hair. The only minus is that the main section has the dirt tray and doesn't come off. Not a big deal except that it has the cord attached and has to be opened over a trash can, so not the most convenient with that aspect. The benefits of this outweigh this minor annoyance though. I love it! It’s my first stick vacuum, and it’s just so light, effective, and easy to use. I got it on sale, and I’ve used it in my home for a year now with zero complaints! I will grant, I have area rugs but don’t have deep heavy carpet, nor am I familiar with other shark vacuum models, so it might be that other vacuums are better for certain situations. However, this one has been just perfect for me and really sucks up everything. I saw someone complaining that the dust bin does not detach. This is true, but it never struck me as an issue, as the vacuum is so light that you can just rest it against the trash gently as you click the little button to open the dust bin over the basket. I find it empties out really easily and nicely. It does have the standard hair wrap issues, but that’s to be expected, and it’s not as bad as some other vacuums. Used this for a side cleaning business and later for personal use, it’s lasted for 5+ years on office floors, pet occupied homes, and even outside car cleanings 😂 Love this vacuum so much because it’s easy to use and take apart to clean, very versatile and the suction works great on almost every surface. The only issue I’ve had is with those washable rugs it tends to get stuck (the rug is too light and the suction works a little too well!) but if you keep it on the first setting it’s no problem. ... show more
