I bought this for my father who in recent years has had a harder time getting around. This is super light weight and waaay easier for him to use. He said it picks up dog hair really well and he loves the lights on the front because it illuminates the hair on the hard floors and he can see it and is able to get it all as a result without missing areas. The suction is wonderful and picks up everything. It’s nice and small so it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up a ton of space and makes the maneuverability of it easier. I have mixed feelings about this vacuum. It doesn't have the suction power of my previous shark but that may not be a bad thing. My old vacuum was pulling up the carpet and chopping up area rugs. I also had to be very careful not to get anywhere near a cord or it would suck it right in. This one seems to do an adequate job without those problems. It doesn't get the corners or edges quite as well but I can clean them with the attachments. I use full power even on bare floors because the lower power doesn't do the job. It's lightweight and very easy to manuever. It can easily get into spaces that my old shark couldn't. The cup is fairly small so I usually empty it about halfway through cleaning but that may be overkill on my part. It moves easily on the carpet but it could possibly get away from someone with balance issues. Overall, I'm very happy with this but I'll probably pull out the big, old shark occasionally to deep clean. ... show more

Works amazing! My MIL had the same 1 and I loved hers, but having my own is amazing. Light and easy to maneuver. Picks up better than any vacuum I have ever used. Easy to clean and store. Has a storage hook on the back. Cord is easy to wrap and has hooks specifically for that. Long cord that reaches really far. Multiple heads to use for everything and I love it. Suction is amazing. A setting for carpet and for non-carpet flooring. Clear dirt collector so you can see exactly what you are picking up. Easy to clean roller with recessed groove guide in case you have to cut string or hair off it. First use on my floor had the carpet softer too! Love, love, love this vacuum! Pros This vacuum has wonderful suction. Having two cats it is an endless chore to keep the hair under control. Light weight. Adequate length cord. Love the attachments Cons The dust collection bins prevents getting under our bed. With another Shark we had, the collection bin was on top so it was easy to get under furniture. This one not so much. The vacuum will not stand on its own. It is to heavy on the back side and must lean against something to stand up right. I found myself constantly pushing the sweeper head down. While sweeping, if you get the sweeper too upright it will lock in place requiring you to step on the head to lower it back on the floor. Overall Good, inexpensive vacuum. I clean residential homes and I needed a vacuum that would go over rugables. I did my research for a vacuum cleaner and this vacuum cleaner is the one I purchased. I am so very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It not only goes over the rug bowl really well, but it also has a light on the end of it that shows everything on the floor And it picks up everything. it comes with several different attachments, which is a bonus. I chose the corded one because of my profession and I’m so glad that I did. My clients are extremely pleased with this vacuum cleaner as well. It has great suction one thing to keep in mind when using this vacuum cleaner on a rugable vacuum in the middle of the rug, and then when it comes to getting to the edges of the rug, go over the edges separately . Because if you go from the middle to the end of the carpet, it will pick up the carpet and a red light will come . This is my technique for using this vacuum cleaner. You could probably work out your own, but all in all this is a great vacuum cleaner to have like I said I did my research and this is the one that had the most stars and made my life so much easier thank you shark for creating this vacuum cleaner. The only thing I have a con about is that it doesn’t stand up on its own, but that’s OK with me as long as I can get the job done and the cord is long enough to plug into the hall and reach three bedrooms wow that’s amazing ... show more
