I’m really happy I got this vacuum. I thought it was the Shark Lift-Away, but it’s not quite the same. The whole stick part does lift away, though, and the suction is amazing. I switched from the Shark Rocket to this Navigator, and while it’s a bit odd and wiggly to get used to at first because it shifts and tilts the suction part so quickly, it only takes a few tries to get the hang of it. The suction is way better than my Rocket! I cleaned my whole house and it picked up so much dirt and dust that I didn’t even know was there, even though I had just vacuumed with my Rocket. The dirt container is much easier to empty too. You can just hold it over the trash and open the bottom to let it out. So much easier than the Rocket! I got it for $99 refurbished, and it’s totally worth it. Plus, it’s not much bigger than my Rocket stick vacuum, so it’s easy to store. ... show more

    • Fantastik Vaccuum!
I love Shark vaccuums! This is the 4th vaccuum I've purchased. They are easy to manuver, light enough to pick up to go from room to room. 2 of the sharks were given to family as gifts. The attachments are easy off/on, easy to use. Easy to empty the debris from the canister. I wash the vaccuum filters and reuse to last longer. Replacements are easy to get reasonably priced. I recently moved into an apartment. I had to vaccuum the bedroom carpets multiple times because previous owners had pets ... the Shark Vaccum removed the pet fur, and long black hair from their owners. It left the carpets more vibrant looking, and the hepa filter helped to remove a strange smell out of the carpets, even though shampooed before we moved in. I highly recommend this Shark Navigator with Pet hepa filters. ... show more

    • Good vac but turning while running the vac is hard on older wrist
So I bought this to have as a good vac at my new to me LAST house while I kept my really good vac at the home I was selling. I "camped out" in the new to me for a year before I moved everything in. It did a wonderful job and my grand girl in the basement has it downstairs. Does have a HEPA filter so the vac is easy to open canister and dump trash out but it does need someone who is going to keep an eye open to the clear tank and every month or so depending on how much long hair and all the other stuff we gather on the floor (pets) it needs hair cut off the brush plus end that locks it on the rotor drive , a seem ripper from the sewing /craft dept will slid under hair & cut it. I love to take it outside and take it apart and the old trusty leaf blower does great getting it dusted out. The HEPA filter can be washed by hand and air dry. ... show more

    • Works like new!
Got for my daughter, she has informed me that it's super quiet and has great suction, easy to maneuver. She is very happy. Mine said refurbished but she said it came in original box and is brand new! Yes I recommend. She loves the longer cord.

    • Very easy to use it moves so smoothly.
Review Image by Julie Price
This particular Shark vacuum is fabulous. Runs so smoothly and turns super easy I have a large area rug and the vacuum glides like a dream. To assemble it was very easy. It comes 3/4 assembled it just needs to have the handle and the pole it fits into added to the vacuum it took 5minutes. I love how light weight it is and I’m sure you will also. ... show more

    • Like the older design way better
Don’t like the newer design of the hard hose vs the extendable hose. Also debris gets stuck in a weird place that you have to take the bottom plate off, lay the vac flat and take a broom stick to clear the blockage. Bad design. Go back to original

    • Amazing for picking up dog hair
Best vacuum I've ever used! Picked up so much more dog hair and dirt compared to my old vacuum. I am very very impressed! Would definitely recommend to anyone with animals or just track a lot of outside debris inside.

    • Strong suction, light weight- GSD owner approved
Review Image by j.ashley
I had a Shark Navigator Swivel, this obviously isn't the same one I had. I currently own the Shark Navigator Lift-Away and bought this thinking it was the Shark I had previously. The Original Navigator Swivel has an issue with the safety switch in the head going bad, but I don't like the new hose design that has a sharp bend in the handle that clogs. This Navigator Swivel also has that same hose design. BUT the canister holds more and the suction is considerably stronger. It also has on-board attachment storage, which the Lift-Away does not have. They both weigh about the same, have similar width. I am not sure it was worth spending the $100 given the Navigator Swivel's issues and that the hose design flaw is still there, as nothing was "wrong" with my Lift-Away. I have 2 German Shepherds, have no grass, live in a muddy flood zone, with tons of hickory trees and the power of the Shark is wonderful, but the clogging is a nightmare. I prefer Sharks, though. I will be keeping the Swivel and giving my Lift-Away to my older mother who needs a lighter vacuum than her current one. I will always recommend a sharks to pet owners as a dog trainer and owner. ... show more
