I have purchased several vacuum robots over the years with some fair and working really good but I wanted to give self emptying a try. Thinking of the shark brand I thought I would give it a try. I was disappointed the first day! After the time setting up to fully charge, let map my home, recharge then finally first clean. Poor job around baseboards and missing many areas .     • If No-go is not working . . .
... call Shark customer service. Mine would ignore a zone I set up to keep the vac out of our walk-in shower where it'd get trapped behind a threshold. Tried everything mentioned on the Web, then called Shark service. Got a polite, patient tech who had me go thru steps of setting up a small room to include the shower, then a large no-go zone within the small room to keep the vac out of my shower. After running the vac to clean only the small room and seeing it (finally) steer clear of my shower, I reduced the oversize no-go zone and ran the vac to clean only the small room. It worked! Nothing we did logically FIXED anything, but the end result is that it now works. We've worn two earlier generation Shark robovacs out - satisfied with performance - and like to stick with what works. Fingers crossed that it still avoids the shower when the vac does the whole house tomorrow. ... show more

For some reason I thought I was getting a slate color based on the photo, but it was actually white- wouldn’t have chosen that color on my own. Works good as far as I can tell. It’s pretty intuitive and has yet to get ‘stuck’. The battery only seems to last the duration the clean (about 65 mins) before draining to 30% and it takes a while to charge back. Not bad if you run it once a day or every other/few days. It does A LOT of movement so I can understand the battery life. The ‘self emptying’ feature is really convenient too. I just needed help keeping up with pet hair and I could have gone with something cheaper, but trusted the Shark brand. I pray it lasts many years. I’ve named her ‘Clean Elizabeth III’ ... show more

After trying multiple other vacuums, even ones that are more expensive, I saw this one on sale and figured I'd go for a reliable brand like shark. I am so pleased with it! I’m so mad that I spent all this money on this dang robot - twice. The first one didn’t work at all - not a single run. The second one was a dream! For about a month. Now it doesn’t clean worth a damn. I send it to go clean and it cleans two feet total and returns to the dock. They offer no help. The app is horrible. Seemed to work as expected. Got caught up on area rugs constantly (thinks it's about to fall off an edge). Did a decent job of cleaning dog hair on hardwood floors. Stopped working about 5 months after purchase. Still waiting on parts I am expected to swap out. Had to pay shipping despite warranty coverage. Shark is 0 for 2 on vacuums breaking at our house, so we'll probably look at a different company next time. ... show more
