Got this little gem for Christmas. It is a bit louder than I expected but it's not overwhelming. I was rather impressed with "Janet's" maiden voyage. Yes, I love the fact you can name your vacuum. I was even more impressed with all the fur and dirt it picked up! I ran it for 25 min before sending to dock. It meticulously mapped the entire downstairs. The mapping isn't done yet but after one or two more runs it should be perfect. I've read some bad reviews and those are either mechanically caused issues or pure user issue so either get it fixed or read the manual. This is not so obviously a refurbished machine but it is awesome! Definitely worth the money for anyone that is busy or just lazy. I love the programming and the app interface too.

What surprised me most about the unit is its ability to transverse from tile to carpet without any issues. Excellent job on carpets, under sofas, beds, cabinets, etc. Remember to relocate any wiring or it will gobble it up. Well worth the cost. In addition, the mapping feature allows you to programs which rooms, after about a week of self running around the house, to select which areas to cover each day, if need be.

The unit only worked for 1 day then kept getting a error message. Could not clear the error. Returned item 2 weeks ago, still no refund. Going to dispute charge with credit card company.

I've had several robots over the last 3.5 years and this one is BY FAR the best! It maps my house so I can designate "areas" for specialized cleaning whenever I want. It also picks up pet hair very nicely and clumps it in it's bin like a dryer clumps lint on the lint screen. It's average loudness for the amount of suction and it's very intelligent when going around obstacles. Love This Robot. :). You Made Another Great Product Shark !!

Broken upon arrival. Although, I gave 2 stars because the APP connected very easily and was easy to use. When starting to move it moves upward on the right side creating an angle and not fitting under things it should while making excess noise. **Review Update** I have improved to 4 stars due to the company Kanga Supply being very helpful and responsive with a refund and even offering a replacement renewed item. Although, I declined if I were to order renewed again I would purchase from them knowing the customer service is there.

I liked this vacuum but returned it. Here’s why: The side sweepers kept flipping off if it happened upon an area rug or even as it climbed up a slanted base on the bottom of my bar stool. I saw it happen many times. That wasn’t good, but wait there’s more... The vacuum was catching on my area rugs way more than it should have. In fact, many times it just backed away and went around the rugs. Now my area rugs are thin, very low pile. The vacuum could and would go over them as it did many times. Just not all the time leaving the rug clean sometimes but not all the time. Of course, as stated before, sometimes the sweeper would catch and come off. It doesn’t have navigation which was ok with me. However the random nature of this thing was very off. It vacuumed one area so many times over and missed a nearby area only because it would only turn one way which led it directly to the same spot over and over. It took quite some time and many turns to finally find its way to another spot. Then it did the same. Meanwhile, some areas in between were left undone. I know that’s the nature of randomness but I would have hoped that the vacuum was more intuitive in its skills so that it would turn accordingly to at least make a zig zag pattern instead of returning to its last position. Wastes a lot of battery power. It’s not loud. It returns to base easily. It has a low profile. The dust bin is large. Liked having the remote since I don’t carry my smart phone around to use app. Anker has never let me down with their products until now.

This is a refurbished piece of crap. It runs for about 2 seconds, then announces that something is obstructing it even though nothing is obstructing it. I fix that 3 or 4 times, then it runs until it decides something is obstructing its cliff sensor even though we live in a single-story ranch style house and it is sitting in the middle of an empty room. I'm confident this is a decent brand, but whoever refurbished this turd needs to try again.
