I clean residential homes and I needed a vacuum that would go over rugables. I did my research for a vacuum cleaner and this vacuum cleaner is the one I purchased. I am so very pleased with this vacuum cleaner. It not only goes over the rug bowl really well, but it also has a light on the end of it that shows everything on the floor And it picks up everything. it comes with several different attachments, which is a bonus. I chose the corded one because of my profession and I’m so glad that I did. My clients are extremely pleased with this vacuum cleaner as well. It has great suction one thing to keep in mind when using this vacuum cleaner on a rugable vacuum in the middle of the rug, and then when it comes to getting to the edges of the rug, go over the edges separately . Because if you go from the middle to the end of the carpet, it will pick up the carpet and a red light will come . This is my technique for using this vacuum cleaner. You could probably work out your own, but all in all this is a great vacuum cleaner to have like I said I did my research and this is the one that had the most stars and made my life so much easier thank you shark for creating this vacuum cleaner. The only thing I have a con about is that it doesn’t stand up on its own, but that’s OK with me as long as I can get the job done and the cord is long enough to plug into the hall and reach three bedrooms wow that’s amazing

I love my Shark corded pet vacuum! It has amazing suction power and picks up pet hair like a champ even from carpets and upholstery. The built-in light is a game changer it helps me spot dust and hair I would’ve missed otherwise. It’s lightweight, easy to maneuver, and the cord length gives me plenty of reach without constantly unplugging. It’s not too loud, and the attachments make cleaning stairs, furniture, and tight spaces super easy. Highly recommend for anyone with pets or just looking for a solid, deep-clean vacuum!

Love my little shark. It's lightweight, easy to maneuver and easy to clean. I'm older (75) and used Kirbys for years. Though this doesn't seem to have the suction that Kirby does, it cleans beautifully and I tend to use it more because it's so much easier to use. Key points for me: simple to take apart for thorough cleaning. No more taking it to service center for such maintenance. Switching to accessories is simple and quick. Storage is simple. It can hang on the wall. ( Try that with a Kirby!) LOL! I highly recommend.

Stars based on suction and how much it picks up. That being said it is not very agile. Little hard to push on area rugs. Hate having to switch from hard floor to carpet as I have hardwood floors and some area rugs. Cup fills very quickly which makes me feel it's really deep cleaning but you have to empty alot. It's not smooth like my Eureka similar style. But more power. No way to stand it as it's top heavy. I'm not sure overall if happy. Yes it lights up and has Multifunction and has odor blocker bit ill have to replace that.

I love this vacuum I've only used a few times it has great suction. Tonight I pulled it out to do my stairs and there was a lot of dog hair from my husky so it was a heavy duty job and the vacuum ended up clogging before I emptied it totally my fault and it stopped working. I actually thought it burned out so I called customer service and they have a great warranty on this. I also found out that if it gets clogged it has a switch inside that automatically shuts it off so the motor won't get damaged. Then you unclogged the canister or whatever is clogged and wait about 45 min and then turn it back on and it worked again. I was so happy I really highly recommend this vacuum it works so well

The media could not be loaded. I had high hopes for this vacuum and Shark has been a pretty reliable brand for our household needs. Compared to the Dyson, this vacuum is wayyyy inferior. So much that I sucked it up and spent the $500 on the Dyson cordless stick vacuum because this Shark stick plug in was so disappointing. First, the Shark has decent suction and it’s light enough to get around tight spots but it’s a huge FAIL when the filthy contents don’t actually enter the canister fully and the glob of dirt, hair and filth suctions onto one side, making you have to dig it out by hand when it must be emptied. This is a major design flaw because it causes the vacuum to need emptying wayyy too often and if you overlook it, you’ll be digging filthy contents out of the stick portion. I know what you’re thinking, “my god, these people must be filthy”. Well, we’re not and as you can see in the video I uploaded, our floors consist of hard surfaces and a couple throw rugs. We have two small yorkies and it’s just 3 full time, working adults in the house. This occurs after vacuuming our living room and kitchen only. We have new vinyl plank flooring, an 8x10 area rug that’s less than 2 months old and a couple wool kitchen runners with a very tight weave. I’ve used the vacuum about twice a week for almost 3 months and it took a crap last week. There’s no suction and it’s extremely loud. Here’s where I got fed up and bought a Dyson instead. The bottom line is, this vacuum sucks and not in a good way. When I called tech support for help, they had me start of a video call where you must hold the phone and attempt to disassemble the vacuum and use the vacuum at the same time. With 2 more arms that might be easy, but it’s impossible with one person. It’s also a bit overkill for what it is. As if any reasonable person wouldn’t already clean filters and empty the canister before calling the manufacturer for help. We’ve purchased MANY Shark products but this was our last. After experiencing their tech support, they’re not interested in customer satisfaction. They’re only interest is to find fault in the customer use so they can weasel out if replacing their poorly designed vacuum. In case anyone was wondering, the Dyson is a dream and it’s far superior to Shark. Bye bye Shark. It’s not me, it’s YOU. Over $159 stick vacuum, you list a lifelong customer and Dyson gained one.
