  • Life Changing
Style: Corded w/ Essential Package
My house has ALL wood, bamboo and tile floors. I've said over the years that I wanted a maid to come in and just do the floors. A pregnancy injury left me in pain most of the time and floors are really hard for me. I started with a robot vacuume that I love love love. Next I wanted an electric mop. After reading all the reviews, the corded plug in Shark Hydrovac is what I bought. I am reading poor reviews here under this product, but they continually mention the weak battery. My review is for the corded plug in vacuume not a cordless model. My floors have never been cleaner. I used the vacuume over the course of two days and about 10 hours for an initial clean. The bamboo floor is only six years old and sealed. That floor was so easy to clean, although I still cleaned it three times over since it hasn't been cleaned in over six months. The kitchen tile was super easy too, although it doesn't reach the grout, my daughter is young and took on the challenge to clean the grout with a nifty grout brush I found. The hard part to clean is the 30 year old wood floors with areas where the seal is worn off. We bought the house from someone who's dogs had scratched the floors and wore off the finish in high traffic areas. This was the hard part to clean the first time. I did the same as with the bamboo and cleaned it the times over. After it was done, I realized there were areas of built up dirt on the unsealed areas I had not been getting clean. I decided to go back and clean this area by hand with a scrub brush to get it where I wanted. After that the floors have been a snap to keep clean. I've put in about 20 hours with the vacuume so far and have had zero problems. Some reviews say you can't vacuume and mop together. I didn't even try that. I vacuume with the robot first, then mop. I don't want to risk scratching the floor with a gritty mop. It is super easy to clean. The clean tank chines right out with the push of a button. The dirty tank is the same way. I dump it in the sink, rinse it and either use it again or put it on a towel to drain and dry. There is a sponge on the filter that I rinse and squeeze and put on the towel to dry. The beater bar comes out easily. I rinse under the faucet in the kitchen sink and squeeze by grabbing the bar and turning it around with the other hand. Again, I either put it back on the mop to keep cleaning or leave it on its end to dry on the towel. The vacuume without the beater bar and without the dirty tank, has a very short tube between the two that cleans easily with a bottle brush that is not included, but I already own it. All these parts are removable and replaceable with one hand. I find it easy to use, easy to empty the dirty tank and easy to refill the clean tank. The mop has a self clean feature that works pretty well, but I found that it is easy enough to clean it the way I described above and decided that is rather care for it myself and allow the parts to all dry completely. I've had zero issues with mold or a moldy smell. My floors are cleaner than they have been in years and are easy to maintain after the initial clean I have them. Note, I have a corgi dog that sheds all year. The robot vacuume and the Shark mop have changed my life. I don't leave the house covered in fur anymore. Once a week I vacuume and mop, or one other day in between if we are all off work for holidays and tracking more dust and dirt. Everyone in the house is impressed with his easily the floor is kept in a very clean and neat state. Along with the robot vacuume, this mop is the best investment I've made in householt cleaning tools, ever. ... show more

  • Amazing quality can’t go wrong
Style: Cordless w/ Premium Package
I waited to do a review so I could gets some use out of this first. I have been using it now for a month and I love it. I have two giant breed long haired dogs and there is always hair everywhere. I think I have it all swept up and then another pile shows up. This machine lifts any left over hair off the floor and gathers it at the top of the dirty water tank. It does not clog and does not leave wet clumps on the floor. When I am done using it I run the clean cycle and then clean and soak the dirty tank and throw the roller in the washing machine. I love that it is cordless so I can just keep going, not have it unplug and forcing me to find a new outlet. I get my floors clean in record time and it doesn’t lose charge or suction in the amount of time I need it. I usually run it continuously for about 30-40 minutes. If you are on the fence with this one you won’t be disappointed. It is high quality, fairly quiet and cleans super fast and efficiently. ... show more

  • Good for small homes. Bad for large homes.
Style: Cordless w/ Essential Package
This vacuum mop would be fantastic for a apartment or small town home. Not so great if your whole ranch style home has tile floors. The battery life got me through only half of my task. It lasted only 35min. So this could be a good fit if you had the corded version, but only if you are okay with having to empty the small tank 10 times before you are done with your floors. Conclusion: great for small homes. Not great for large homes. ... show more

Style: Cordless w/ Essential Package
Love it! I have 3 small dogs and 1 is a boy. You can imagine. So I got this to clean my wood floors. I have used it everyday and it picks up dirt and objects, dog hair everything with ease. I love how the machine is self cleaning and easy to clean the canisters. Cordless is also good. I just love it. ... show more

  • Meh
Style: Cordless w/ Premium Package
Listen, I am NOT a review writer unless I really love or really hate a product. I have had this hydro vac for about a month or so now. The first time I used it, I loved it. Now? Not so much. I have 4 animals, 5 if you count the toddler boy child, and 6 if you count the husband. You can imagine the mess on my tile floors. Between cat litter, dog hair, and dirt tracked in, it gets hectic here. I had really high hopes for this. I bought it on sale for $175. It genuinely does a good job, for about 15 minutes. I can get a good chunk of my house done in 15 minutes. After that it leaves clumps of hair, and drips dirty water everywhere. Plus after the 15 minutes of use I have to spend almost 2 hours taking the entire thing apart and deep cleaning it cause it holds all kinds of hair, dirt (which turns to mud cause it’s wet) and just clumps of gross. It clogs very easily, and drags mess around. The blue sponge thing I feel like you can only use once. After that it gets so gross and holds all kinds of dirty and stains from messes, and hair. So I replace it every 2 uses. I still have to vacuum before I use it, which is a bummer, and I still feel like I need to mop after I use it. All in all, I really can’t stand this thing. Over priced for a crap job, in my opinion. ... show more

  • functional yet gross
Style: Cordless w/ Premium Package
Is this fictional to use? Yes. Is it easy to empty and clean out? No and it's gross. Don't get me wrong this is great for what it does. Being able to vacuum and mop and the same time is every parents dream. It's fast it's easy and gets the job done. But then comes the emptying and cleaning part. The solids and the liquid do not go into separate compartments they go into one. So having to pour out crumbs that are wet and clumps of hair (I am majorly shedding from postpartum) is just gross. Plus I don't want all those things going down my sink. I like the Shark MopVac better with the replacement pads having a vacuum section and the pad wiping up the solution. The vacuum is light weight and the suction is really good. I just wish they would have deigned it better and differently with two compartments, one for solids and one for the solution. ... show more
