Beat up but works great. Ok, so a piece on the carpet cleaner was broken off and the screws on the bottom have taken some punishment. See the pictures. I decided to try it out and it works great compared to my fancy cordless vacuum. Corded is the way to go. So I'm just going to keep it since the functionality is good. The broken piece does not affect it thankfully. I think it works great, like the lights (didn't think I would care) suction is pretty darn good. It picks up more than a cordless and you can keep going and going and do the stairs and just keep going into the basement and just keep going. I like you can take the dirt cup off and take it to the garbage and dump instead of taking the whole head unit to the garbage. Cord is long enough and it picked up so much dirt my fancy high dollar cordless left behind. I could not believe how much it picked up. The weight and noise level are fine for me. Very happy with my damaged machine at the reduced cost. ... show more

Before I bought my own (and YES, it’s pink) Shark Rocket, I tried one out and at 1st, it wouldn’t suck an eyelash up it was so clogged. Being a pet owner (of my own, my daughters’, my roommate’s, the clients that I pet-sit for, etc) and a cleanaholic, I will NOT compromise on certain things, one of which is my vacuum cleaners. I started with a SHARK Navigator and I loved it (till my daughter’s devil 😈 bunny-Mila, chewed through the electric cord-thank god for electrical tape!). Over time, it just kinda got a little too heavy for the type of cleaning that I use it for. So before I could “test drive” my boss’s Rocket, I ended up having to perform major surgery on it. Basically, all I had done was unclog the hole in the actual vacuum head). Once I was able to loosen the ROCK HARD blockage (which I’m guessing was just really old Carpet Fresh and some really really old Christmas tree needles 😆). It was only then, that I was able to see how well this compact and lightweight vacuum performed. It was AMAZING. I adore my latest addition to my housekeeping tools. I love this vacuum! It's compact, it swivels, it's light weight, has great suction power, goes pretty far under my furniture, easy to figure out right away and has a long cord! Wish I had bought this a long time ago! It's perfect!

I love the shark brand vacuum cleaners for their suction power. I have 2 shark rocket pros, one old and one new. The old still works perfectly, but the attachment wore out and replacements seemed to cost near the price of getting a refurbished rocket pro with all new attachments so that is what I opted for. Both the old and new Rocket Pro never let me down and clear my carpet and hardwood floors fantastically. Please buy this. It is refurbished but came in very good condition. ... show more
