I bought this for my father who in recent years has had a harder time getting around. This is super light weight and waaay easier for him to use. He said it picks up dog hair really well and he loves the lights on the front because it illuminates the hair on the hard floors and he can see it and is able to get it all as a result without missing areas. The suction is wonderful and picks up everything. It’s nice and small so it’s easy to store and doesn’t take up a ton of space and makes the maneuverability of it easier. Shark equates to quality every time. I’m always impressed with their vacuums. Would recommend! Also this vacuum is pink but he doesn’t care because it works so good! ... show more

It doesn't cure cancer, it doesn't fix your marriage (however, using it often may help!) - it's a vacuum, and it sucks! And by that I mean it does exactly what it is supposed to do. I will say, out of all of the vacuums I have ever used, this is probably the easiest to use and certainly least annoying one. It's not super heavy, it's not outrageously loud (it's a vacuum, if it isn't making any noise, you probably have a bigger problem), it's very maneuverable so you can effortlessly putter around your partner who is trying to cook in your very tiny kitchen at the same time as you are testing your new vacuum. The light is bright enough to illuminate all of the crumbs in your kitchen that you didn't know you had, and all of the tiny spiders hiding out in the dark corners (huge plus especially when you're optically challenged like me), and bonus points! If you have a sudden pavement ant invasion in your house, it'll suck all those little suckers right up in no time at all, so you can go deposit them back outside where they belong! Please don't ask me how I know, it was traumatic enough the first time. All joking aside, I would say the only thing I would change about this vacuum is make it so you can wind the cord up on the body of the vacuum itself then just set it on the wand hook for storage, as opposed to having to plug the vacuum into the wand, wind the cord, then unplug and slide the body of the vacuum down onto it's storage hook. That's it! Rinse and dry your filters well after every few uses and you won't lose suction. I have a small space and this vacuum doesn't require a huge amount of spoons to drag it out and use it when I have very little energy to spare, so it was a great choice for my needs! ... show more

Pros This vacuum has wonderful suction. Having two cats it is an endless chore to keep the hair under control. Light weight. Adequate length cord. Love the attachments Cons The dust collection bins prevents getting under our bed. With another Shark we had, the collection bin was on top so it was easy to get under furniture. This one not so much. The vacuum will not stand on its own. It is to heavy on the back side and must lean against something to stand up right. I found myself constantly pushing the sweeper head down. While sweeping, if you get the sweeper too upright it will lock in place requiring you to step on the head to lower it back on the floor. Overall Good, inexpensive vacuum. Great for pet hair ... show more

My new favorite vacuum. This one goes easily between bare floors and rugs with a flip of a switch on the handle. Much better than my Dyson where you have to bend down to make the swap. I'm very surprised about the suction on this machine. It seems to be a good as my Dyson but this one seems to do a much better job on my scatter rugs. Lifts the dirt but doesn't suck the rug into the machine. I can also vacuum my dogs' beds without the vacuum getting stuck in some places. This Shark moves easily over the beds and gets up the dog hair. I do have to empty it more often than the Dyson and the cord isn't as long but I'm OK with the other advantages mentioned above! ... show more

Perfect use in our RV! We have had several compact vacuums over the years and this one is a keeper! It's compact design, powerful suction, swivel steering maneuverability and detachable tools, make it easy to vacuum the smaller areas of an RV or apartment but big enough to use cleaning your home. It's lightweight and easy to clean catch basin, makes cleaning seem less of a chore. My wife uses it several times a week because it doesn't take much time to get it out, vacuum what is needed, and put it away. The various components can be disassembled for easy storage or the entire unit can be stored in the corner of a closet for easy access. This vacuum is well worth the price and I have no doubt that the Shark brand will last us for years. ... show more
