Sometimes the button to turn it on gets a little sticky, but not annoying enough to deter me from using it daily. Holds charge for about 30-40 mins. Great vacuum cleaner that runs on rechargeable battery. This is my third Shark cordless vacuum. I like this style more than the vacuums that have the dirt cup up higher which is more weight to deal with. This Shark has an easy dirt cup that’s so easy to click away to empty. It has a nice beater bar & strong suction. I like that the battery base plugs in & I set the Shark on it to charge the vacuum. Not too bad a price though the price has gone up some in the past years. I used the Shark Freestyle Max Cordless Upright Vacuum in a home with all hard floors and a couple of entry rugs, and while it has some strong points, it ultimately didn’t work for me. The biggest positive is definitely the suction power. For a cordless vacuum in this price range, it performs really well. It had no problem picking up dust, debris, and even heavier dirt from my floors and rugs. It felt powerful enough for everyday cleaning, which honestly surprised me. I was also impressed with the battery life. On high speed, I was getting around 18 minutes, and on low speed about 25 minutes. That was more than enough for quick cleanups and even getting through most of my space in one go. However, the main reason I returned it comes down to the design limitations. It doesn’t come with any attachments, which makes it hard to clean anything beyond floors—like corners, edges, or furniture. That really limits how versatile it is. Another big issue is that it can’t reach under furniture well. The design doesn’t allow it to lay flat, so getting under beds, couches, or low-clearance areas is difficult or impossible. For me, that was a dealbreaker since those are areas I need to clean regularly. Overall, I think this vacuum is best for someone who wants a simple, lightweight option for quick floor cleaning only. It has great suction and solid battery life, but the lack of attachments and limited reach make it hard to use as your main vacuum. ... show more

I didnt realize when I ordered it didn't have any attachments- but I decide to try it out and was really impressed by the amount of dog hair it picked up. I will use my other vac for attachments. This is so lightweight and so easy to charge- so simple. Im keeping it because the dog hair pick up so impressive and no cord- only on the charger. 4.9 stars just because no attachments- otherwise perfect! ... show more

Great vacuum! I have two story house and the battery last all the way through. I don’t have pets. Vacuum only weighs 7 lbs so very easy to handle. LOVE the led lights. It goes under most furniture. I love this vacuum. It’s quiet it’s light. It’s really decent at picking up dust and crumbs off of the floor. I wouldn’t necessarily purchase it as my vacuum vacuum however this is a good one for the amount of money. It’s great. I got the vacuum today and here are my initial thoughts. I have been relying on a low quality stick vacuum I bought for my classroom and brought to my house. It was barely picking anything without spitting it back out and was driving me nuts. Pros: Extremely easy to put together. I didn't even read the directions. Very lightweight. I like that the canister is on the bottom and debris doesn't need to travel though the entire stick to be deposited. The canister is also bigger than my other vacuum. Suction is much better than my last vacuum. I like that it has a setting for both hard floors and carpet since I have both. Cons: I think the handle is an odd design but works well enough. I wish turning the vacuum on and off, and switching between hard floor and carpet were separate buttons. I'm happy with this purchase so far, but will update when I've had it longer. ... show more
