Description

This SHARK APEX Powered Lift-Away upright vacuum features DuoClean PowerFins, a two-brushroll, no-bristle system to deep-clean with nonstop contact and eliminate hair wrap. Powered Lift-Away lets you detach the pod to go under furniture with a motorized nozzle or clean above the floor with the push of a button. Quiet and powerful. Best vacuum I've owned. Take your current cache out for a spin on the carpet. Then go over it again and watch how much more this Shark picks up. Easily maneuvers and the fact that the power part of the vac comes off is awesome to get under any furniture, beds, tables or whatever that any other vac could never do. Great vac. Not nearly as loud as others I've had yet really does a great job getting dirt and pet hair out of carpets.     • Suction is superb and I swear on everything that it is brand new.
I swear on my life that this vacuum came to me brand new. No scratches, the tag that is tapped around the cord is brand spanking new. I can't find any signs of the shell being used. This vacuum has the best suction.....you can even get everything up against the baseboards. If you're looking for a great vacuum at a wicked great price....then look no further. I have been looking for this particular type of Shark vacuum for awhile now, but couldn’t bring myself to pay the outrageously expensive price for one. I decided to look on Amazon and am so glad I did! They had a renewed one which I was a bit skeptical about, but it ended being THE best purchase. You can go from hardwood floors to carpet to thick area rugs and it does a fantastic job at picking up hair. I love this shark ! I didn't expect it to work as good as it did. there wasn't any sign of being used. it was refurbished but works better than my old shark . it sucked up cat hair and debris instantly. Shark has out done themselves!! I love shark vacuums and this one doesn't disappoint. It is a bit heavier than yhe other sharks that I've owned, however, it seems to be made to handle dirtier jobs. It has powerful suvki g g rce to really get into the hard to Reach places. Shark has done it again!!

I have had the smaller Shark navigator for years and was happy with it. When it came to time to replace I opted for the somewhat larger Apex. It is definitely powerful and will suck up anything it can get to. It is larger than the Shark, though and somewhat heavier. Overall, very happy with it, EXCEPT: It comes with only 2 attachments !! A crevice tool and a small brush tool (says for dog hair). Brush tools looks like upholstery tool. But no revolving brush stair tool like the Shark came with and no dust mop attachment. I see they do sell some attachments separately, but definitely the lack of attachments was a disappointment. That’s why I only gave4 stars. I bought refurbished, so time will tell. I bought this vacuum cleaner refurbished, so I got a screaming deal on it. Only $138. It is just like one that a customer of mine bought for almost $400. While I've noticed that shark has declined in the quality of their build and materials lately (I always recommend new customers buy a shark for me to use, and while the price is going up, the flimsiness is also going up) this vacuum cleaner still feels quality built. I love having the on/off button where I don't have to bend over to push it, as well as switching modes. I would like to not have to reach so far to rewind the cord (I'm beat at the end of the day) but eh, it works. My favorite feature is the "powered lift-away". Which means the beater-bar still runs when you take the canister off (carpeting under beds, etc). I will say, I hope Shark, while increasing their prices(like everyone else) would please, please, please NOT compromise on their quality.... Please don't turn into (ahem, cough, cough,Dyson) ... show more

    • Roller motor bad in 5 months
Shark warranty says the entire base is a wear and tear item, and the warranty is only for the main suction motor. The entire base with two rollers and suction part is all not covered on warranty, and I asked where it is described and the answer is its in the " Etc. ". They listed filter as a wear, which everyone realizes, and left the main part of the unit itself. And this product is now not active, so cant even return to amazon. ... show more
